I stopped playing and paying for the game in May 2020. I then hear rumors of VOG returning in Winter, it gets pushed back. I finally see the DLC containing VOG drops and I watch a couple videos about it. I am so dissapointed in both the sound design and visual gun design. This always happens, you guys butcher the legacy of an event, item or character/place. Vex sounds bad and so do the other weapons, but this is only half the tale. The damn visual design of the guns fall so flat it actually hurts, always so "shiny" its disgusting why shine it up to make it terrible and destroy the colour pallete. This is a consistant pattern you have yet to brake and im not sure why, because its not doing any favours and really turns me away from this game. Bad Juju was hyped up so much, when it dropped the gun sounds were worse than before and the gun looked off. As if this wasnt bad enough, they always comeback weaker with no "kick" or feel in both the damage and playstyle required to have fun. If the Pandemic hit you guys so hard, why not copy and paste the sound files. At least I can put a shader on a gun that sounds nice to fire. I will continue to leave the bill unpaid until you guys actually understand that this weird direction is not good for the game and just feels like you're trying to rush to the end of the story to be done with it. TL;DR The sound design is really becoming worse as the years go on, the same can be said for visual design of the guns. It feels like you want to finish the game and be done with it. All the guns that are brought back are weaker and a shell of their legacy.
