DESTINY 2 (PS5) ERROR CODE BEAGLE

[u][b]DESTINY 2 (PS5 VERSION) ERROR CODE BEAGLE - 18.05.21 [/b][/u] When trying to launch the game on a PS5 (refer to images via link) LINK - https://imgur.com/a/3asYKGe 1. In game install occurs 2. Error code "Beagle" appears 3. PS5 system effected and crashes PS5 system. Error code is not sent via Sony due to this. Your game is effecting my own personal items. This is unacceptable for a paid product Bungie, and you expect your playerbase to tolerate such a poor service and product? Surely you are breaking terms and legality of the consumer? Which I will do my research on and look in to and your and Sony customer service reps will be contacted soon. Please fix Bungie. Thank you. Edit: The PS4 version of the game works. But the PS5 version does not. Edit: The PS5 version works after deleting and fresh install of the game. I don't know if this will happen again but really Bungie? It takes around 6 hours (around 75 GB) or so to download and copy the game, on a PS5, depending on your internet connection and so on, and you want players to do that everytime this error happens? Like I said. This is unacceptable Bungie.

  • 3 times in one gaming session. Numerous times the last month. I wasn’t going to complain as it happened just here and there but 3 times in about 5 hours? Handle you -blam!-ing shit bungie…..

  • I had several "beagle" errors and reinstalls as well. Too many to count. Not to mention that its expensive to redownload such a HUGE data pack. Bungie, please fix this ASAP!

  • Not just PS5 any more, Xbox as well. Though I have had some geniuses try and tell me my Xbox drive is the problem not knowing My drive is in top health and checked by MS, no other games affected, and occured when taken blight on last week's reset. Funny how hundreds of systems started have this problem across all platforms. As well occured 5 times at the same time the 5 times it has happened so far. And Bungie saying they are patching next reset.

  • I have had SIX Beagle codes. PS4 version is unpleasant to play after getting used to PS5 version. Jittery screen makes me nauseous until I adjust to PS5 version. I have been playing since D1 Beta, but this may be the beginning of the end.

  • For me it’s 5 times in 4 days. This is unacceptable unless they are trying to refund me all the money in DLC purchased and pay for the internet they are making me use. For ps5 70 gb x 5 is 350 gbs of data used on this game alone! This needs to be fixed

  • this is my 30th time getting this error I think Bungie needs to fix this immediately and not just wait another year to do it cause they are going to be losing a big portion of their console players like Bungie just because its not a ever verse issue and you not losing money doesn't mean it shouldn't be a issue this needs to be fixed now I'm tired of downloading this game over and over again just to play it

  • Got this error code for the first time yesterday and after seeing what everyone is saying about it, I’m not really feeling good. I’m playing on PS5. I’ve put a lot of time (not to mention money) into this game and it’s absolutely disgusting that there hasn’t been an explicit acknowledgement from Bungie regarding this issue as far as I know. This is a game-breaking bug for PS5 players and as such should be placed as a priority bug to be patched. Bungie has seriously angered me and I’m forcing myself to play the PS4 version of this game as a massive downgrade because I don’t want my $10 spent on the season pass to go to waste. If this isn’t patched soon, I can guarantee that I will never spend another dime on this game ever again.

  • So I have just received my 20th beagle code since the beginning of this season, just 45 minutes before reset. Bungie for everyone’s sake, sanity and to keep your game alive and playable…. Fix this stupid error code already. You’re killing your player base. You can fix exotics on a whim but this is still prevalent 7 weeks later?!? That’s kinda disrespectful to your player base that’s supporting your franchise. I know I have for over 6 years now. Again, This is the 7th week of this season starting and you’ve done nothing. We’ve all paid for this game and the dlc/seasons. Fix it already!! Or should we start requesting refunds for unplayable purchases?

    • I just received Beagle for the 5th time on my PS5, which causes me to have to delete D2 and download it again. This only happens with Destiny 2, no issues with any other game. Bungie needs to fix this poor compatibility issue.

      • I just had a beagle code for the 6th time. Has anyone even heard them address this happening? I can only find a few threads with people griping about this. Nothing from bungie in response. I want to play the game, but this is seriously pissing me off. I think I’ve finally had it this time. This is approaching cyberpunk level of unacceptable bugginess. With new games coming out for ps5 soon, I’m not going to continue the aggravation. What a let down.

It's random and happens in different parts of the game and there's no real pattern to it. Some ppl I know have resulted to playing the PS4 version on their PS5 to avoid it. And 7 hours ouch....from hitting install to launch I'm around 1 hour at most. This is a game breaking bug, and could be console damaging as well, and Bungie hasn't mentioned it once which is unacceptable. This was happening on PC a couple seasons ago and it's been fixed so they should have an idea what's causing it and at least acknowledge it on a TWAB with some sort of timetable for a fix.
