Hello Orchid,
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We never want to cause anyone health issues. I'll forward this to our team to investigate and will push for a solution.

And believe me Destiny has been the longest game I’ve played till now So bungie please give us a On/Off flash option .

Sorry that is happening to you. We are constantly trying to improve the game for all players with photosensitivity issues. You may want to look over the Photosensitivity Warning section in this TWAB for tips that can help improve your issues: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/51124

Hello, I want to know if there are any plans to investigate and/ or fix the ongoing baboon error code issue? Since the update last week it's none stop error code (baboon) which is basically making the game unplayable. I know for a fact that it's not on my end. Since prior to season of the splicer I never gotten a error code, but after I'm getting 4 to 5 per hour. Secondly it's reminding me of the final update pretty beyond light where baboon was running wild affecting a majority of players who had comcast and the Canadian version of comcast. I did a scroll through the forum seeing others like me that only started to experience this error code after the update. But didn't see any responses from bungie about this current issue. I'm hoping that if will be rectified before vog drops because myself and the countless other players that is experiencing this exact issue won't be able to participate. Thank you and please keep me posted on something

Please make it a toggle style solution. To those of us who are enjoying the flashes and high definition explosions and weapon reports, toning it down would be a downgrade.

Don't want to fail to mention that riskrunner has sent me to the hospital twice because of players who forgot I'm an epileptic. I have to stop and look away a lot myself in destiny post beyond light. Thank you for bringing this up orchid! And thank you for looking into it bungie.

Destiny 2 is the only Video-Game, where I have to make a pause, because I get so sick of the flashlighting.

Well, you sure as hell do want to cause health issues, mental health issues, if you didn’t want to cause them, this game wouldn’t suck ass.

Man just short of 1800 hours and still playing a “trash” game, kinda says a lot about you doesn’t it?

a d d i c t i o n Also extreme boredom with nothing else to do

Says the person who played within the last 24 hours.. keep your opinion on this on a diff post. This person discussed an ACTUAL health concern.. You can play other games. I'd suggest that instead of choosing to make your blood 99.999% salt.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedules to address this. Even suggestions on how I can change my settings to limit the contrast would be really helpful, since I know it’s not possible to change it wholesale (and I wouldn’t even begin to ask you to). Thanks again :)

Let's hope this ends up with an epileptic friendly mode (like you guys do for color blind modes), instead of doing a blanket adjustment.

I too have similar issues, though not as detrimental as the original poster. I have made this comment before with no responses, nice to see someone paying attention. Additionally; the use of the color red has gotten completely out of hand in several environment/activities. An example would be some of the Gambit maps, when an intruder comes in, they are nearly invisible to me because of my difficulty to discern red from other colors in the environment. Another point to make is the backlighting that changed in one of the recent seasons. Now, instead of being able to see long distances, the background lighting becomes so bright it causes headaches - blurring out distant objects, similar to the flashing of the original poster. This does not occur when exploring locations, but does occur in just about any action activity - please address. This was intentionally installed in one of the more recent seasons and for most not an issue, but for some - it definitely is.

You are not alone on this. Like 8% of males (and 0.5% of females), I suffer from slight colour blind in the Reds and Green. None of Bungie's color Blind modes help at all - they actually make identifying colored items worse and produce some really weird color changes to the game. When I got into Crucible most of the time I don't even notice the identifier over my Team mates, which makes it exceedingly tough to identify to tell friend from Foe. Secondly, they still have Ranged weapons where the Reticule is pink (i.e. Whisper for example) and given the number of Red maps, I miss precision shots because I don't see the reticule center dot against the background. What they need to do is stop using faint shades of Reds and Greens for identifiers. Make them much more bold or give us a Preference for selecting Colours that do work for us.

Well said, completely agree and actually, better explained by you. Like you, I can't tell the difference between friend and foe half the time in the crucible. The reticle is a problem as well - also with foe stasis, primarily the hunter super, the red identifying as foe is barely discernable and downright invisible on some maps. I did try all the color blind modes and had the same result, none helped at all. I can see why red is an easy to use color in the game for the developers, but frankly it is quite overused and there are those among us that suffer a penalty because of it.

Hopefully y'all can put something in the settings for people afflicted by these issues. I absolutely LOVED Riskrunner before the change was made to it. Now it's not near as fun to use. I personally like the bright explosions and rapid flashing. I understand that things need to be done for those with epilepsy but it really should be a setting for those who actually need it, not have an effect on the entire game for everybody that plays. Kind of like the color blind settings.
