[BNG] Season of the Splicer: Crash at Sign On
We are currently tracking an issue where Destiny 2 is crashing for players when signing in. We are seeking additional information to aid in our investigation.
1. What platform are you currently playing on?
2. When are you hitting this crash?
3. How many friends do you have online [b]currently playing Destiny 2[/b] when experiencing these crashes?

I’m on PS5 and I’m hitting the crash as it’s loading into the “Select a Character” screen and I had 90 friends online but have since trimmed it to 15 after I saw dmg’s post and my account is linked

PS4 Pro crashing after the sign in and verifying content screen. Have had anywhere between 20 and 60 friends online while experiencing the crashes all day even after numerous restarts and attempts. Saddened this happens when it directly affect streamers and the players trying to make content to promote this season.

On ps5 About 30 seconds after log in I have about 70 friends online playing destiny

I am on ps5 and it crashes on the screen where it says "press x to play". After pressing X, it immediately crashes with error code. It says I have 78 friends online. My account is linked.

I am getting a game freeze on Xbox Series X before the character selection screen. I have LOTS of friends signed on and playing (if it's true that you can only have 40 friends or less on destiny for it to crash then it might be true). If I do get in, the game freezes halfway. I can play fine on pc.
