I'm sure if Bungie wanted many or most to go flawless, they could easily come up with a system like that. Clearly they don't, so it's probably a better idea to gain more skills than try to change the game mode to fit your skill level.

The problem is if the mode is not popular it won’t be played. In order for the mode to be popular it needs to be changed. I still think the flawless needs to be special and protected, but there needs to be less incentive for good teams to farm tokens by constantly resetting their cards after one win. There also needs to be better incentives for teams to keep playing even if they are losing. My team consistently gets three wins, occasionally gets five, and at present is not good enough to go flawless. For teams worse than us there really is no incentive or not enough incentive to stay in the mode. Also, a game should not count as a win unless at least one round is completed. Leaving a match of course should still be a loss.

Ahh, the requisite "git gud" poster. I figured one of you would be along. I've gone flawless a couple times, but it's a slog due to the matchmaking and cheaters, so I don't put any extra effort in. I now just stick to helping my less skilled clanmates get their weekly weapons these days. If you want to ignore the issue of why population in trials is low, why players cliff jump, and why cheaters and recovs abound, feel free. Saying "lulz git gud" does nothing to fix any of these. Do you want the game to be fun? Do you want people to play the mode regularly? If not, carry on guardian. Carry on.

Doesent really matter flawless should not be made any easier, if you wanna go flawless, beat flawless competition, if you don’t wannna go flawless, understandable

I've never gone flawless. I probably won't. The best is 4 win on a card a few times. I don't pretend to know game design. If you know it so well, you should make your own destiny killer and be done with it. I'd love to play it.

Not sure where the hostility came from, but I never said Bungie didn't know how to develop a game. If I felt that way I sure as heck wouldn't be posting on their forums. I wrote this because I love this game, the lore, the company, and all the details. I want it to succeed, and I want the top-end PvP to succeed too. I want it to feel as good as GM nightfalls do. Those are above and beyond more accessible than trials, and nobody complains about them. Plenty of people do them. The complaints about trials are legitimate, and I want to offer a suggestion, based on feedback I've seen and my own experience, which could fix some of those issues. Why do you feel there is something wrong with that? I'm genuinely curious where you're coming from, because I don't understand the mentality here.
