I dont care for guardian games
Not looking forward to it because the event sucks... just like baking cookies thing you guys did.
The armor, the armor doesn’t even make sense. Why are we getting racer outfits if sparrow racing isn’t even a thing. Cmon guys, you could do a lot better. This isn’t and event, it’s a filler.

Right? Creative game modes, bungie did it before with griffball, zombies, etc... all player made I'm sure all the talented devs could come up with something more inspiring than grinding bounties. We want bungie to succeed. The story has all this inspiring potential, but the devs don't do anything about it. They just stuff it into a lore page instead of hiring some talented artists and animators to make some cool cutscenes out of it. Apex is a great example of that, with the Valkyrie character in their "Stories from the Outlands". They made this cool cinematic, added backstory to a new character and it was a real good watch. On top of that they have added new game modes and new maps. The loot and scoot aside, the game is cool as -blam!- and have been enjoying it.

The absurd amount of the copy and paste work in this game should give you a Huge clue that most of the actual talent that was trying to improve this game has literally left this company. The quality of work has gone to shit since forsaken in every aspect of this game. Some players don't like players like me pointing out the truth and will try to fight it, but you can't fight facts especially when the reality of it is literally in front of their face, they can try but they will lose every time. They can get mad and vent their anger at me calling me a "hater, basher, troll, etc... but it won't change any facts. Sorry guys, this is literally Bungie's own doing. [b](They are 100% responsible for their actions in spite that they don't take responsibility for their deliberate poor actions.)[/b] Guardian Games shouldn't have been added to this game. It was a cheap move to replace Factions because Bungie didn't want to spend the resources maintaining Factions, but instead, they created a cosmic event that helps promote Eververse that is actually a toxic event that they rigged🤦♂️

Guardian games should've been like the Olympics. It gave off that vibe but Bungie decided not to push it any further that simple collection runs. Imagine an gamemode focused on various sports from the olympic games. THAT would be fun.

6 RepliesCongrats, it's still gonna happen. At least it isn't bounty simulator again, and it's a free exotic dude. Don't want the exotic? congrats, free materials from dismantling the exotic. Like, it costs you absolutely nothing and you don't HAVE to participate. But there's free loot, and you're getting rewarded for just playing the game as you would normally. There's literally no reason to dislike it. Even if you don't like the outfits, you're not forced to wear them so what's the issue? Complaining just to complain is the mark of a child, and complaining about a free event that you aren't forced to be active in, especially one that you PASSIVELY play in just by doing the things you already do of your own interest and free will, is the mark of a SPOILED child.

I'll go for the catalyst just in case some future day I might want to use the HMG (based on this past year, doubtful). Other then that the only thing I care about is building up my bright dust stock pile again. The rest, sorry without SRL it all looks like crap barely worthy of sharding. Now if this was all around SRL then I'd be 100% in!!!

Atleast cookies were fun, atleast until it became a grind it cook them all. I wasn’t there for the Guardian Games, I was there for reverie though. Let’s hope progress is tied to an activity instead of everyday boring stuff.
