This weekend is awesome, good job Bungo
I'd like to drop some feedback regarding this weekend to whomever at Bungie is actually reading these things.
This weekend, Destiny 2 has been the most enjoyable its been to play in a long time. The game is riding a pretty big wave right now where end-game content is in full swing while the seasonal narrative stuff is hitting a climax for now. Right now we have Grandmasters available to grind for mods and materials, a fantastic Trials weekend with great rewards throughout the card, Iron Banner providing an excellent pulse rifle and SMG as well as pinnacles to help catch up on the grind, a new strike to play for a seasonal title, and just a cherry on top - a shakeup of the stale Stasis meta that's had me raging much less than i was before March 23rd.
Im actually busy. Theres so many things I'd like to do in this game this weekend and all of it is worthwhile because of the promise of good rewards. In none of those above activities is there not something im still chasing rolls on, and I've got some life breathed back into my friends list for those looking for the same thing.
So well done. The game feels like something really worth putting time into this weekend, and rewarding of the time I've put in previously to finish the pinnacle grind and muster a GM/Trials team. Remember this weekend Bungie, and strive to make more like it. Times like this have players excited and turning their systems off ready to play more tomorrow.

2 RepliesYes! I was on vacation last week, having a good time, but itching to get back on destiny! I’m excited for the weekly reset though, because it will be adept palindrome with double NF rewards. Hopefully I can get myself 2 power higher in order to do GMs.

I appreciate the activity on this post and the upvotes from others still having a good time. I really anticipated MUCH worse feedback since youre not allowed to be happy / have fun here - but even to those who disagree, I hope they make the improvements you seek. Anyway, some dude accused me of being Luke Smith for this being my first post (funny as hell btw) and they're right about it being that cuz gooood lord are these forums full of just... bad, baaad ideas and complaining 🤣 its so bad. So, probably never posting again unless something cool happens and I wanna inject positivity / bait trolls. Later.

1 ReplyGM isn't available to all. The vast, and I mean VAST, majority of players are nowhere near 1325. GM is available for a few. The rest is valid. Season climax was awesome. Freelance iron banner is bad in a way that is amusing instead of frustrating. Stuff is fun and I'm also busy. But yeah, GMs are heavily gated. I wouldn't add GM farming into a thing that "everybody" can do, since it's more accurate to say nobody can do it than "everybody can do it" lol.

I agree, the game is in a good spot pve wise. I'm looking foward to tomorrow's grandmaster, it should be great.

Drop rates for master lost sector exotics, Bottom Dollar, etc. are exceptionally stingy - and this is on loot that is likely to have crappy stat/perk rolls. We're still using IB gear that's been in the game for literally years. We still have high-end difficulty strikes that drop sunsetted gear. There are still a ton of exotics in desperate need of catalysts. If anything, this is one of the times where the game felt LEAST rewarding.

What are we halfway through? It's been a very good season for story... but I can't stand lore as a reward... Destiny still has a loot problem and like every season before [i]chosen[/i], we hit the halfway point and the air is just out of it. Destiny just flags every season the second half.

7 RepliesExcept that stasis is still the go to class. This season has really brought no new content except for creative patrol and a single strike. So at the end of the day the season is meh and boredom has struck the more hard core players. Next game
