I've been having a similar issue since last night. Every time I've tried to play since those massive server issues a day or two ago. The game stutters a lot on the character select screen, as I'm loading into orbit, in the character menu, and when I load into a destination. And more often than not once I load in, the screen just stays black for a minute or two and the game crashes. The one or two times I've actually made it into an activity the game still stutters constantly and eventually crashes. I literally cannot do anything. Hoping tomorrow's patch somehow fixes this, otherwise I don't know what to do. The fact that I'm not seeing a lot of people talk about this issue makes me worried it won't get attention and won't be fixed anytime soon, which would be bad because this is pretty major. Anyone affected by this cannot play the game at all. This needs to be priority #1.
