Linked account (no longer have access to Xbox account)
Ive been playing Destiny 2 for years now, played on my dads old xbox one account, my ps4 account, and recently got myself a pretty nice gaming laptop! A few years ago I linked my ps4 and xbox account together on bungie and left it at that. Welp, I got my new laptop and wanted to play my ps4 character on my PC because I have all my loot on there... It told me to authenticate my accounts and low and behold my old ass dads xbox account was on there, that was created like a decade ago... I authenticated my ps4 account and steam account, but it would not let me continue without authenticating my xbox account. So i tried and give it a shot to try and remove the damn account and it wants me to log into the account. My father turns out has gotten rid of the account (and doesnt have any information on it either) ,and is trying make me do all this recovery bullshit to get the profile back. Honestly probably will turn out that it wont work. Im trying to just remove this damn Xbox account, so I can just play my ps4, and steam account and move on with my shit. Its pretty frustrating so if anybody can understand and help what my dumbass is trying to say, that would be fantastic!

Hello. You can’t unlink an account without being able to authenticate it. You’ll need to contact Xbox support to help gain access to the account in order to unlink it. If that’s not possible, you’ll need to move your accessible accounts to a new BNET account to cross save. All emblems tied to your current profile will not carry over to the new one.
