Cross Save - Xbox characters gone

Hello, I set up and enabled cross save today and somehow managed to wipe out all of my Xbox characters. I linked my Steam account with my Xbox account so I could hop back and forth between platforms, and now all I see is my old PC characters. I cannot disable the link and get back to my current characters due to purchasing silver 7 days ago. and the contact form on the Bungie website for errors like this is no longer there. I understand that I should have read the instructions more carefully, but is there any sort of ticket system I could use for a deactivation request?

  • Hi there. You set up Cross Save backwards by choosing Steam as the Active Account instead of Xbox where your characters are. If you wish to request that Bungie switch your Active Account, head over to this article and fill out the contact form at the bottom. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 Please note that Bungie goes through these reports in order that they receive them, and only during normal business hours Pacific Time.
