As the cavern collapses around the platform, the woman raises a hand above the shards. There is a pulse of light and the shards fall to the floor, then once again everyone is taken by darkness.
When their sight returns they are standing in the snowy courtyard before the mansion as the mountain to the left of it crumbles into itself. The woman, bloody and beaten, falls to her knees before the now open doors with a smile.
"Just as I left it."
And that's the end of that, but feel free to chat... or stab me in the bat, er... back...
There is now a bonfire within the ruins of the ballroom where folks have gathered.

Suprised by the change, and new scenery, Cobalt skips and falls. He gets up, and starts to dust himself off.
-
"Apologies, not exactly the first impression I'd have hoped for," the woman shrugs, "but I'd think it is far better than being buried miles beneath the surface, no?"
-
“I agree. Speaking of impressions, names Cobalt. You?” Cobalt reaches for a handshake.
-
"I am known as Nil," and she hesitantly offers her hand, clearly unfamiliar with hand shakes.
-
Cobalt lightly takes it and gives it a small shake. “So... where’ve you been these past few years?”
-
"Down there in that metal box, sleeping."
-
“Quite a long nap, yeah? Feeling refreshed?”
-
"Oh not at all! I've slept far too long and now everything feels a bit stiff." "Also," She gestures to the rags she is wearing, "I smell like a mausoleum. I'll need to freshen up later."
-
Cobalt gives a small chuckle, and removes his helmet, hooking it on to his belt. “I’ll bet it isn’t that bad. You should be fine!”
-
I forget, is your character a robot of some kind?
-
He was the whole security system at one point, then isn’t. Now he’s basically a dude wearing some armor and a cool coat.
-
"I will be once I've gotten cleaned up. This place may be a lost cause, however." Nil gestures to the ruined ballroom.
-
“Definitely. Do you have anywhere to stay? I know it may be weird, but I’ve got a house with a few open rooms if you need a place to crash.”
-
"Oh I'm sure there's a room or two left mostly intact here, and I've a few things to do, but I appreciate the offer."
-
Cobalt looks out at the wreckage. He nods. “Most likely. What’s the plan for later, if I may ask?”
-
"First, a bath. Then I plan to find a change of clothes and hopefully some leads on the whereabouts of my daughters."
-
“I can offer two, no three of those things. I have clothes and a bathtub, along with people who might know things about people, and where they might be.”
-
"I have all of those things here aswell. This was our home, there may be some clues as to where they may be now." She smiles and adds, "But I may take you up on your hospitality once I've satisfied my curiosity, and made my way down the mountain later."
-
“Alright, if you insist.” Cobalt takes the helmet off his hip, and slides it on his head. “Well then, I bid you adieu.”
-
"Daleth sh'ril," Nil bows her head.
-
Shamrock-74 confused by the sudden change in location looks onto the now docile Witch Queen. <“#*Seems I didn’t have to put bullets in you for you to stop.~%”> <“*•So who are you?^%>
-
Everyone has gathered in the ruins of the ballroom where a few benches have been dragged around a growing fire. "Hello again, I am called Nil," she smiles, " and be honest, how would you respond to several armed strangers barging into your bedroom?"
-
Shamrock-74 looks up in consideration. <“~#Not too kindly.•^”>
-
"I am also not exactly a morning person, so... sorry!" She shrugs, "I'd offer to heal you, but my magic does not work on golems."
-
Shamrock-74 tilts his head inresponse to the comment. <“~%I suppose it’s ok. your magic can do a lot, but this ‘Golem’ can heal himself.^•”>
