Luck, complete with newly battered trench coat, crouches on the balls of his feet to examine his surroundings.

The scene is as described in the main post with a few new additions in the forms of three dead Drow, several heroes, and an enraged albino Elven woman with an ice sword. You also notice something others hadn't, as you took the time to take it all in. The cavern is slowly collapsing, with larger and larger boulders splashing into the sea from above creating waves that crash against the platform!

Edited by Sylver: 12/22/2020 12:43:02 AMHe takes another moment to assess the situation between the heroes and the very angry woman, trying to ascertain whether they need assistance or whether there’s anything he can do to assist.

Watson seems to be holding his own against her single handedly while the others attack from range, though you notice Blaze and Wrath appear to have been attempting to speak to her and she's assumed a defensive stance, looking more confused than angry now...

Gaining surety of the situation, he looks across the massive cavern for pre-emptive exit routes.
-
The most obvious exit appears to be across a long bridge, where an opening within the wall is alit by violet wisps. There is also a small speck of light far above, directly centered with the platform. Oh, and a small boat trapped in the ice beside the structure. Probably how the Drow arrived, but that's a bit useless now.

Nodding to himself, Luck trots toward the angry woman and loudly asks, “Hello and greetings, nameless lady! I’m a little late, might I have an introduction?”
The events been updated with a new pinned comment, but this would still mostly work in that context! I didn't want this event to drag into next year as my previous month long ones, so it went by a bit fast.

ah, got it.
Nodding to himself in a reasonably more fatigued fashion, Luck approaches the injured woman and asks, “Hello and greetings, nameless and mysterious lady! I’m a little late; might I have an introduction?”

"The locals used to call me Nil, once upon a time," She sits upon a bench in the ruins of the ballroom, poking at a bonfire with the leg of a chair, then turns to you and smiles, "Though hopefully no relation to the one you're all apparently familiar with."
-
He sits cross-legged and remarks, “Can’t way I’ve met her, but the rumors abound.” Luck nods his head upward. “So—pardon the blunt phrasing—what are you? This place yours?”
-
"I am an old woman too stubborn to die," her smile fades a bit as she looks around the rubble and ruin, "and yes. Apologies for the state of it, I was not expecting company."
