Materials needed that you can’t obtain anymore
This make 3 days in a row the banshee has sold upgrade modules for material you can’t get. Also spider has not sold these materials. Please fix this.

bungie wont say anything, so many people posted in forums and directly twitted at them and nothing, like you're telling me everyone was off work this entire time and can't reply , just absurd

I logged in, saw it was still the same and switched off. Iron banner coming tomorrow and if it stays like this the options will be to wear you high light armour with mediocre stats or your Masterworked set that you cant level up. Will just give it a miss I think.

All the bugs and lack of forsight would have made me leave even for a developer with far less experience than Bungie who by now should be better with these things.

Edited by DarkACB: 11/30/2020 6:35:25 PMbanshee is selling both upgrade modules for vaulted resources again today. i can't even begin to imagine being a new light player dealing with this. . also as a temporary solution: you can grind upgrade modules with the ghost mods. i recommend doing the hero ordeal for the enhancement cores to stockpile upgrade modules when banshee does end up selling em for obtainable resources. it's not the best solution but it works.

If they make Banshee selling one module for currently available materials and one for DCV. Easy fix. But it seems easy way dont work for Bungie. They prefer hateful comment on forums.

Deliberate scummy move to slow progression or gross incompetence? With Bungie's track record, I'd say it's even money either way...

7 RepliesHow is this any different than wanting to masterwork a piece of gear but hot having an ascendant shard? If you started in day 1 launch you didn’t have the materials for months to do things. This is the equivalent to that. If you haven’t been playing and saving currencies, that’s no ones fault. Maybe not even yours. Maybe you didn’t own the game, I don’t know. But blaming the developer for having something for sale for currency that millions of people have, but you don’t, is a YOU problem. Not a BUNGIE problem. There’s no easier way to say it.

I know right? I couldn't get any either. Made a difference between being stuck at 1248 and 1062 because I couldn't infuse anything. Not to mention having to hold all those blamming pieces I wanted to use for infusion taking up all my slots. As if my slots aren't full already because of all the different weapons, armor etc., to do bounties and missions and hunts and more stuff that require me to keep changing stuff. This game makes my head hurt.

Yeah, it sucks that buying an upgrade module from Banshee can cost an currency thats no longer obtainable in the game. Same when buying something from the 'Monuments to Lost Light Kiosks'. I'm lucky that I didn't get rid of all of my materials when Bungie said they were going away ( I know better, when has Bungie ever implemented something Destiny, and had it run smoothly ), but its not like I had a tonne of these things to begin with. Demand is beginning to outstrip the supply.

Fix! Here’s what needs to Happen.... they need to put together a fix / patch to fix this BS and put it in with the weekly reset on Tuesday.... Don’t preach to me about how I should have saved my planetary materials.... because guess what I didn’t lmao.... what did I do with em?? Don’t remember to be totally honest All I know is now I need them seriously bad and spider much like my wife ain’t putting out! That time of the month I guess.... however if I’d have known I was going to need materials from sunset planets after the sun has set Mayhaps I would have been sure to keep some... So basically I don’t feel like the Idiot here Someone at Bungie had to realize this, either that or it’s “Working as intended”

2 RepliesTechnically, Banshee hasn’t sold anything the past 3 days because unless you had enough resources saved, nothing could be bought. I only had about 20 each of the resources needed, so I couldn’t even but a single upgrade module. How come no reply Bungie? FB and Twitter censoring your posts?🤔😕

2 RepliesBungie blew it here. They gave the impression that old materials could be offloaded for minimal return through spider in Beyond Light but did not suggest they would be essential to get upgrade materials from Banshee. This needs to be patched immediately.

Its a bloody joke got rid of all my old mats after cozmo said to use them up which made sense seeing as the planets were getting vaulted. Back at work now doing 12hr night shifts so my playtime is limited and cant even upgrade my titan thanks to this bollocks. Selling one of the upgrade modules for old mats would be no issue but selling both like that is just downright idiotic thx bungo well played.

my question, why did you get rid of them in the first place? the areas are coming back eventually, so why would you want to regrind your supplies?

It's probably a scam so instead of buying them with mats at Banshee, you're forced to buy the Concentrated Mattergem from the store with your bright dust, so when they finally sell something you want, you're now out of bright dust and they're gonna hope you spend real money instead. 🤫

But they are pushing newer players like me away from it with this kind of nonsense. I have some nice exotic and legendary items with stats that is like. But can't use them anymore because they have such a low power level and they dump my overall power level when I equip them. Right now there is no way for me to get upgrade modules. Why are you giving us players a 🖕🏻? I'm so mad right now and really close to uninstalling this huge pile of 💩 game! Do you guys @bungie use your brains at at all? How can shit like this be in the game?
