Transversive Steps Should Activate Buffs Caused by Reloading
While I haven't exactly tested everything what can work, I can tell you that when I get a kill with Ace of Spades and I run as a Warlock to reload with T. Steps, it does not trigger the Memento Mori buff, but it should.
At first I thought it was exclusive to a manual reload thing, then I reloaded as a Hunter using the dodge and it does in fact trigger the buff.
The Memento Mori description says it will trigger upon reloading, and running with Transversives is still a way to reload.

3 RepliesNo. This will cause momentum mori to go away on reload as well. You use this exotic for a good ammount of things without upsetting a weapons perk say the new duality shotgun. Dodge reload gets rid of the buff while running and reloading keeps the buff.

21 RepliesTS is already the best Warlock PvP exotic and arguably the best neutral game exotic for all classes. I think if it triggered things like memento mori, it could be too good. I’d rather they gave Warlocks more viable exotics instead of only having one worth using.

1 Reply200% yes. Problem is - it takes to long to reload guns in general. By the time you have sprinted the kill clip timer is ........ gone. An example anyway. In d1 the perk was almost better where running over a brick instantly reloads the weapon. Great for the xeno and it’s insane reload time or mayhem rumble!

As stated below by someone else the boots provide a different benefit than the dodge. Retaining buffs lost on reload. Think things through before you go making posts
