Tintinnabular means “of or relating to bells or the sound of bells ringing”.
It’s my favorite word! ^-^

What's your least favorite word?

Edited by The First Aifos: 11/10/2020 2:22:08 AMHm.. I actually haven’t thought about that.. I thought on it for a bit, and.. I dunno. I really love words; it’s hard to choose ones I dislike. So, instead I’ll give you a few of my runner up favorites! Amorphous - something with no definitive shape, or form. Serendepity - good luck. Campanology - the art of making bells. Defenestrate - to throw a person, or thing, out a window. Morpho - it’s a type of butterfly, associated with rebirth.
Defenestrate - to throw a person, or thing, out a window.
Ha! One of my favorite words, too!
It actually comes from the German word Fenster, which means window. :P
Haha, neat! Etymology is always fun! I must admit I’m sad defenestrate seems to be the only one people are acknowledging, though. >.<

Well, if it helps, I really liked serendipity! My new favorite word of the week!
-
Serendipity was a really good one! I instantly fell in love with it, too! I don’t actually remember which came first, but I either heard about it first from Flip Flappers, where the opening theme is called Serendipity, or Swords of Ditto, where Serendipity is the name of a giant space whale.

I learned some new words to add to my arsenal of sarcasm today, thank you good sir!
-
I can’t see too many of these having super useful sarcastic applications, but you’re welcome nonetheless! :p
-
I can think of a few uses...
-
Defenestrate - to throw a person, or thing, out a window.
Yes! Huzzah!
-
And so Mace Windu turned to Senator Palpatine, and asked “What does defenestrate mean?”.
