Since Bungie's business model seems to make it's core content Cosmetics/Eververse, and not the game itself I'm curious about how the players feel about Destiny past and present. (At least on this forum)

I'm okay with the seasonal model experience Bungie changed to the past 2 years. it's satisfying enough for me

I miss the original model Full Content Expansions. Seasonal Content doesn't satisfy me

Its confirmed there's not going to be any Vendor Refresh, and we know this means as speculated many weapons will be outright re-issued. I don't see innovation being used to to make Raid loot or Trials loot unique in the future. I have heard about the adepts coming into the game for Trials, but a simple stat boost mod doesn't really make it all that unique does it? So basically the question is, if we never see Forsaken/TheTakenKing style content expansions with Vendor Refreshes, Story Mode, Raids, Strikes, and Crucible maps ever again opposed to the current seasonal model Bungie has been dishing out, will that be enough for you to stay interested in Destiny?

  • You mean the model they've only ever done twice? That being said. The excuse about not having Activision studios is weak. They're making more money and should be able to hire more people unless Activision was losing money on their deal.
