I come here too often. Most of the time I come here to lurk, but other times I just can't stand something and have to speak my mind. Many of the times I come here, I see a few people complaining and some decent feedback here and there, but I've noticed that the amount of people crying out for change has increased dramatically lately. They have good reason too, to be honest. I agree with 90% of the forums here, and it upsets me. Bungie has about reached EA levels of greed. It feels like 80% of the "content" we're getting is just recycled to the point of nausea. I see so many people complaining, so much good, legitimate feedback that I feel would improve the game tremendously. I see so many things in these forums, but that's not what upsets me. The thing that upsets me is what I DON'T see. What I don't see is Bungie actually communicating with us here. These forums just feel completely ignored. The forum ninjas are just here to keep the forums safe, but I never see community managers here outside the occasional "we'll tell the team" once every 4 or 5 months. It leads to the feeling of being ignored. It has been proven that being ignored creates the same chemical reaction in the brain as a physical injury. I don't EVER see Bungie listening to these forums, so the build up of hostility and hopelessness makes perfect sense. I just don't understand Bungie's logic. It feels very incompetent and childlike. They create a dedicated place for feedback, but choose to completely ignore it. Are they just so full of pride that they can't listen to the lowly players? At this point, if they started actually communicating here, it'll cause a massive wave of negativity to wash over their posts, but that's actually their fault for not making it the norm. If they would just actively communicate with their playerbase, these forums would eventually become a better place and potentially cause the game to be a better place. My final note is that, of course I know you can't make everyone happy. There will always be [i]someone[/i] complaining about [i]something[/i], but it really seems to me that Bungie is only pleasing themselves. Bungie only wants to do what makes [i]them[/i] happy, regardless of how much it screws players over. Why put in the effort to create a good amount of fun and enjoyable new content when you can skim it all down to below bare minimum requirements and shovel in a bunch of recycled filler and ask for the same price, afterall?
