Create your own Exotic

If you could create your own Exotic Weapon in Destiny 2, what type of weapon would it be, what would it look like, and what would be it's awesome perk?

Ammo type: heavy Weapon type: sword Slot: power Element: arc Intrinsic: faster than lightning Light attacks are much faster stabs that deal less damage but has a chance to stun the enemy Heavy attacks are a volley of quick slashes and thrust that cause opponents to become electrified Trait: I said faster! After each kill swing speed is increased Stacks up to 5 times Catylist: unlimited power! Enemy's killed while electrified explode into a arc storm Lore: "You forged your own sword? I find that hard to believe. " Redrix says while taking a sip of his drink "Why is it so hard to believe that I made a sword?" Randy says looking a bit disappointed "Because we can't get you to pay attention during a match most of the time. How could you expect us to believe you spent any amount of time on one project?" "Oh yeah well look at this" randy brandishes a slim peice of scrap metal with what seems to be a tazer by the handle Redrix looks at the blade and then to randy "Well my statement stands you spent no time on this, seriously how do you expect to cut anything with that?"       • [b]Titan Exotic Chest Piece[/b] [b]Exotic Perk[/b]: When at critical health this chest piece releases a small cluster of Siva nanites that seek out nearby enemies. Killing enemies with nanites attached to them causes your health to regen quicker.

      • Nothing manacles. It would be a weapon that's an armor piece. It would look like nothing manacles. Its perk would be scatter charge: gain a 2nd scatter grenade charge. Scatter grenades are automatically overcharged, & damaging enemies with scatter grenades gives grenade energy.

            Sword Name: severance Text: perfect for getting those champions out of the way. Exotic Perk: this weapon stuns overload, unstoppable, and anti-barrier champions, breaking a champions shield with this weapon permanently breaks their shield meaning they can’t deploy their shield again to heal Other perk: this weapon can be used without ammo but will take away health with each swing(health take away scales up when used in the crucible)

            Went a little lore heavy on mine but oh well. [u]Name:[/u] Hellwave [u]Type:[/u] Sword [u]Element:[/u] Solar [u]Flavor text:[/u] [i]"Give them a taste of their own medicine."[/i] [u]Intrinsic perk:[/u] [b]Soulfire Eruption[/b]. When energy is full, heavy attack launches a powerful downward strike that ignites the area around the user. Enemies burned by the attack are disrupted and take increasing damage the longer they stand in the flames. [u]Catalyst:[/u] [b]Fuel the flames[/b]. Area of effect is increased. Enemies killed by the flames restore sword energy to the weapon. [u]Lore:[/u] "I've always hated Knights. Especially the ones that charge you with those swords in hand. I don't know what qualifies as good swordsmanship among them either; all they do is just flail their swords around like a cocky Dawnblade Warlock. Terrible as their form was though, they knew power. I've seen ascendant Knights utilize those giant meat cleavers in conjunction with soulfire for devastating area-of-effect attacks, sometimes splattering Guardians against the walls if it didn't outright cleave them in two. I saw a lot of this during the Great Disaster, probably more than any person. It's even worse when they're Taken; puking fire all over the place as if they're throwing up their own souls. Maybe that's what it is, or maybe they're still sadistic hellspawn even without their own wills anymore. After countless years of fighting and watching my friends fall to them, I had enough. They like swords and fire right? It's about time I give them a taste of their own medicine. I had gathered tons of trophies and spoils from the Hive ever since the Great Disaster, but I never did anything with them; wish I did because the Red War set me back to square one. Took me months after the war to gather up enough soulfire crystals to experiment with, and at least over three dozen Hive swords. Those things are more fragile than they look when they aren't fueled with this stuff. If that Eris person was still in the Tower I could seek her advice. Guess I'll be working on it alone though which is fine. I have a good idea of how I want to craft this sword anyways. ----- After several months of forging what felt like dozens of failed prototypes, I finally did it. Not sure what to call this beauty, but I'll think of something. Eventually. Those days are still burned into my head though.               • Name: Destiny forum Weapon type: Shotgun Exotic perk: wahhhh wahhhh wahhh - gives the weapon a bottomless magazine with rounds that instant track to enemie heads accross any range and through any material TTK: 0.00000000000000001 seconds Catalyst: unlocked by getting 1 damage on any enemy, once unlocked gives the holder 5500 glory and 900 flawless trials tickets as well as every exotic not currently in the players collection. The inspiration for this weapon comes from spending 5mins on the forums and seeing almost nothing but complaints about how "hard" pvp is.

                  • Id like a completely optional "suicide mission" where our guardian dies doing something heroically amazing, then our other characters could get an exotic quest for armour/weapon based on the subclass/stats of our dead guardian.

                  • Conviction of Grosk'dul Exotic Machine Gun, 900 rpm Intrinsic: This weapon fires Ogre eye-beam projectiles with travel time and high precision damage. It's damage element is determined by your subclass. 1st perk: Elemental capacitor 2nd perk: [Righteous Fury] Defeating a target causes an elemental explosion. Catalyst: [Righteous Fury] also triggers on 4 consecutive precision hits.

                  • The Fused Trinity The hand cannon would be a fusion of last word, thorn and ace of spades. Round would cause lasting damage (Like Thorn), increased accuracy when fired from the hip (Last Word), and reloading after a kill would grant extra-damage rounds (Ace). It also fires full auto (Last Word). Its perks when be similar to Thorn, Kills would grant orbs that, when collected by you or your teammates, increased their mobility to Stomp-E level. It would have to have a pretty big nerf, like only 9 shots and be 90 rpm, but it would still be pretty good. The quest would require you to acquire all three exotics, then go to Banshee to start the Quest. Youi would have to get 500 kills with each hand cannon. Then 25 when their perks are active. Then, a crucible bar where you must defeat guardians with one of the weapons being "fused". (Progress would go back by one point upon death) Then, complete the "Ace in the Hole" mission with different voice lines, Then return to Banshee. The catalyst quest would be a random drop after a kill, and would require 50 kills while any one of the perks are active. Then, the catalyst would require you to get "Sparks" which would randomly drop upon precision kills. Then return to Banshee. The catalyst adds the Firefly perk to the gun.

                    • Name: The last Rodeo Archetype: Shotgun What it would do: It be a sawed off double barrel shotgun that would have to be used extreme close range, however it cause massive damage. It would load one she'll at time. Perk 1: The bull - damage against a target is increased based off how much momentum is created before shooting Perk 2: The Wrangler - Holding (insert key or button here) down for 2 seconds switches the weapons from having decreased reload time to having increased fire rate. How it's Aquired: There would be a quest that would start on earth. You would find a guardian with a double shotgun that's legendary rarity and covered in debris. After cleaning it at the gun Smith, you would be able to use the shotgun the first rodeo. It would have a lot kick but high dange and high reload time. After getting kills in pvp and pve you would return to the gun Smith for an upgrade that would in return give you the last Rodeo.
