I’ll get it.
AFTER, the reviews. Made the mistake of pre ordering Anthem. I don’t want to tell you how much it cost....
I feel your pain, I got the deluxe edition lol.

Anthem makes me feel bad. It could be SO good. But it wasnt.

The sad thing is that Anthem has great gameplay and graphics, but it had the most garbage, nonexistant endgame of any looter I've ever played.
-
I’ve actually never played anthem, and it’s always been game I wanted to check out but never got a chance to. I hear it flopped pretty hard but why? What’s so bad about the endgame?
-
What’s so bad about the endgame?
There is next to no endgame. You quickly reach max level just to beat the higher difficulty settings of an encounter called Strongholds. No other high-level content, no PvP, nothing else to chase or grind for.

You poor soul

Made the same mistake on the legion of dawn version

That was the version I got. 😖

Hopefully they can redeem themselves with the update they are working on, if they are still working on the update
-
They are. If you are interested there is a guy on YouTube called Your Anthem that breaks down all the news about it.

Edited by Yamabushi999i: 10/25/2020 10:49:47 PMIt seems all but certain this isn't an upcoming update at all but a paid separate sequel. Which is going to be a tough sell considering they left Anthem buyers high and dry with a potentially groundbreaking utterly dysfunctional piece of abandonware. As bad (great and terrible) as it is, it's still better than Destiny 2 Shadowkeep has been as a paid expansion in my opinion. The "Stasis" Ice effects they're trying to hype and sell us all on, I've been doing on my Storm for months.
