This has been going on for a while, but it really is starting to bug me. Every so often, Destiny 2 will freeze and lock up. The only way I have found to recover is to kill the Destiny 2 process using Windows Task Manager. When it happened today, I took a process dump of the Destiny 2 process using Task Manager. I am also willing to upload whatever diagnostic files and logs Bungie writes. I am hoping Bungie replies to this thread so that I can get these diagnostic files into the hands of their support and engineering teams so that hopefully they can triage and resolve the issue.
