Negative Balance on account after making valid purchase help

I put $15 on my Xbox & then purchased a 9.99 & 4.99 silver for the eververse (10% discount/ xbox gamepass). I recieved 1600 silver as a result (1000+100 for the $10 & another 500 for the $5). I purchased 16 season lvl ups (1600 s) now its is showing -500 silver. I have checked with xbox and the currency card went through no problem. I only used what I had added so this makes no sense, please help ( negative balance has been showing for 2 days now)
