Heres my response from a destiny addict
1. Did you pre-order a PS5/Xbox Series X? If so, will Destiny 2 Beyond Light be your launch title?
Nope, no desire to play console because that demons' souls remake is definitely coming out on steam soon
2. What will you do about your clan? If Destiny 2 Beyond Light IS NOT cross-play between PS4/PS5, will you join a new clan?
If I did buy a console for beyond light, I probably would. If any of my current clanmates did the same I would invite them.
3. If Destiny 2 Beyond Light IS backward compatible for PS5, will you stay behind to play with your friends, or grind without them?
I'd ditch them for the schloot
4. In PvP, would it make you angry if you were constantly being killed by a PS5 user while on PS4 due to hardware advantage? (assuming cross-play is a thing between PS4/PS5)
Absolutely. I feel like hardware should not make a difference when it comes to games in general, and they did say that ps4 and ps5 would have crossplay (unless I'm high and not remembering things right.)
5. Are you confident in Bungie's ability to release Destiny 2 Beyond Light successfully on next gen? Do you think there will be hours and hours of server issues (remember the Rise of Tapir lol)?
I feel like after RoT and Shadowkeep they DEFINATELY learned their lesson. Also preloading is a good thing

was already confirmed console can play with each other between generations until ps4 gets the cut.
-
Demons souls remake is a ps exclusive btw
-
not for long (looking at you emulators)

Thanks for the reply, I am confident that Bungie will launch Beyond Light pretty smoothly. I would hate to see a failure in servers.
