Ghost Shells 2.0 Are A Step In The Right Direction, But What About Sparrows?

After getting a chance to read the TWAB, I'm actually looking forward to having ghost shells be fully customizable. Hoping that the masterwork requirements aren't BS, but that's not what I'm hear to talk about. Since Ghost Shells are now getting facelift, why not do the same to sparrows? Others may have different opinions of this and you are more than welcome to discuss, but imo, Sparrows should also be boosted up to 2.0 status similar to Ghost Shells. Some suggestions for Sparrows 2.0 include QoL changes:
>All sparrows have 160 speed by default regardless of rarity, so if you prefer an uncommon or rare sparrow compared to a legendary or exotic then you can use it without worry of a handicap. >All sparrows now have instant summon intrinsically. This perk is almost too good to pass up even if you have a ghost with Speed Demon. Best to make it intrinsic to all sparrows and save everyone up a mod slot on either their ghost or sparrow. >Amanda now sells Eververse Sparrows, and any other sparrows not tied to an activity/event, from previous seasons. She will have 5 legendary sparrows on random rotation every week for legendary shards and glimmer, and 3 Exotic sparrow quests that require you to that can only be picked up by 1 character per week for a max of three exotic sparrows a week. According to light.gg, there are 94 exotic sparrows that exist. Excluding the event/activity specific ones, that still leaves about 74-76 sparrows to chase which is about 25 weeks so I personally don't think the quests need to be difficult or tedious. >>While a slight tangent, do something similar to the above with ghost shells for Ikora. She's been useless since S9 and could use a purpose again.
In addition to full customization and old perks brought up to 2.0, I've thought up a list of multiple new perks that could be offered to sparrows so there is more variety in what you can choose from.
Reinforced chassis: Self explanatory. Increase the durability of your sparrow so those AI aimbots can't shred you so quickly. Nitro Boost: Hold both of your strafe buttons to go 50% faster, continually (and quickly) consuming sparrow energy. Sparrow will have a longer cooldown after use even if you don't burn through the whole charge. Larger Battery: Sparrow can use more strafes/boosts before needing to recharge. Self-sustaining Battery:Sparrow energy slowly recharges even when boosting. Quicker recharges when boosting. Jump Module: Press both of your strafe buttons to perform a jump at the cost of some sparrow energy. Can be used in mid-air as well, but only once until you land. Ejection Seat:Sparrow prematurely ejects you and continues forward for a few seconds before exploding, just like in D1. Daredevil:Performing successful stunts reward a significant amount of Sparrow energy back. Stealth Drive:I know this isn't a new perk, but only 2 or so sparrows actually have this so why not allow the others to have them? Sparrows will be noticeably slower and/or have longer energy cooldowns as a result. Battering Ram: Sparrows have significantly increased ramming damage. Perimeter Defense System: Consume a large portion of your boost to blast an arc pulse around your sparrow, disorientating nearby enemies.
I've debated on whether Amanda would sell these or not, but considering there's not that many, it'd probably be better to make them rare drops from activities. If Bungie ever brings back Sparrow Trails/horns then maybe Amanda could sell those instead, if they don't immediately go to Eververse that is. What are the community's thoughts on this idea? Anything you like or dislike? Any ideas of your own?
