It’s safe do assume they aren’t talking about it because it won’t have one. They weren’t willing to give us 60 FPS on current gen consoles which has been the standard since around the time they released. Why would you expect them to do anything more than the bare minimum now that they have no excuse to not do 60 FPS?

Current gen consoles couldn't handle destiny 2 at 60fps and definitely can't handle a fov slider. Current gen can barely handle 30fps to be honest. Destiny 2 is poorly optimized and is running on an old and terrible engine. Pair that with the limitations of the jaguar cpus that current gen consoles are running, make for a bad experience overall.
