Main Character Deleted After Server Error
Bungie. I was playing destiny 2 Forge and I was grinding for the izanagis burden. After 6-7 games the server error occurred and it sent me to the title screen. I pressed enter to load up the game again and my main Titan character was deleted from the list of characters. I didn't manually delete the character and I put alot of hours into the game and bought all the DLC's as I am a dedicated player. Is there a way to get my character back since it wasn't my fault?

13 RepliesHi there. Bungie's servers cannot delete your character. Characters can only be deleted manually by players. What's most likely happened is that the "error" was someone else logging you out, so they could log in to delete your character. I suggest you change the passwords on both your PS4 and Steam accounts and turn on 2-factor authentication to help prevent further unauthorized access. Whether due to accidental deletion or unauthorized account access, Bungie does not recover manually deleted characters or items, and does not replace in-game items that are lost or dismantled. 5 RepliesHello my characters have been deleted and I have invested a lot of time and now I no longer have access to them and have to start over? are you serious about Bungie? Why does something like that happen? You fought there for years and now it's really all over again. Now that's a shame that the people who hack are not in their minds that other players suffer from it. Why can't you get the characters back with a security form or a personal question which only the buyer or the player knows for the profile?
