It was only required to unlock the Magnificent set in order to be able to purchase the ornaments. The quest is no longer available as the event has ended, so you cannot continue to upgrade the armor, but you can still complete the final objectives to unlock the white glows. [quote]Additionally, Bungie does not provide Silver refunds.[/quote] 1- i did not know this as i have never attempted to get a silver refund 2- there's no reason to gate the purchase of the ornaments behind completing the quest (you can still make that ornament LOCKED until the quest is complete) if there are no silver refunds --- other than being S.O.L. is there anything i can do? this was a really crippling defeat. idk about you, but i care more about how my character looks than anyone else in my playgroup. this is a big deal to me. more than god role PVE weapons. legitimately.

  • Grinding your power up to 1060 wasn't really necessary, as none of the objectives to earn the Magnificent set (and thus unlock the ability to buy the ornaments) required endgame activities. The final objectives (Trials, Pit of Heresy, Master Nightfall, etc) were not part of the quest for upgrading your armor, which is why they're still available to complete even after the event. You could have purchased the ornaments since you had already earned your Magnificent set. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about the ornaments or your Silver balance.

  • There are some contact forms to get in touch with Bungie directly, but they are specifically for topics like issues with Cross Save where they have back-end work to do on a person's account or for sensitive topics like reporting suspected cheating. There's no way to tag them on the forums like you can on Twitter.

  • can you link me that form Aya? or direct me to where i can find it? i mean at the very least i have to try. this is my biggest defeat in destiny to date. above cheaters ruining flawless trials cards :c

  • It's not one form for multiple topics, it's multiple forms for one specific topic each. There is no form for something like this. I'm sorry, but you missed the opportunity to purchase these ornaments and Bungie will not able to do anything for you.
