I listen to podcasts to learn stuff. How Stuff Works is a good one as they focus on a specific subject at a time, ranging from history to science to how to train your dog. The Dark Horse podcast is another goto for me. It’s a topical podcast of the world seen through the lens of an evolutionary biologist.
Honorable mentions: Waking up with Sam Harris, the Preston and Steve show

Nice! Have you listened to Revisionist History or 99 Percent Invisible?
-
I haven’t. What are they about?

Revisionist History takes a look back at misjudged events, sometimes current sometimes historical, and breaks them down in order to see what really happened. Sounds odd with how I describe it but you'll likely find it interesting given what you like already. The seasons tend to have an over arching theme so if you jump in it's best to start at the beginning. Highly recommend! 99% Invisible is about design and how it affects us in our daily lives. Everything from how the post office was created to how hawaiian shirts came to be and anything in between. It's always interesting and you can jump in anywhere.

Those definitely sound like interesting topics. I’ll give them a try!
