Geo walks down the road, with her Ion Titan Shelby behind her. “Based on what of heard of Nil, this seems like the right place.”
Chain 4!
You enter the camp to find it burning. Charred and maimed bodies are scattered about. Further in you see a large ritual circle, patterns of red blood on white snow, and nine effigies of wood and bone evenly spaced at the edges, with dead witches near two that were kicked over. Beyond the ritual circle, you see the mansion! Surprisingly intact given the circumstances. Three stories tall, with towering gothic roof tops and spires, stained glass windows with a few cracks here and there, and two great doors covered in glowing violet runes. And standing before the great doors, an enormous Fiend... It stands nearly fifteen feet tall with a muscular body covered in ice-like armor. Two horns curve out from a mane of blue flame upon its head, staring at the doors with eyes that glow even brighter. A long tail lashes behind it, covered in icy spikes and two leathery wings stretch from its back. It grips a large, double headed axe in one hand and scratches its chin as it studies the doors...
-
Geo mutters to herself. “Not loot. Hey, do you want some help with those doors?”
-
The Fiend turns to you, then laughs, "How much have you studied of ancient Elvish magic and blood rituals?"

-
"Hmm," he considers the camp of burning tents a moment, then points to a larger one, untouched by his wrath, closer to the mansion, "I believe that one belonged to the fool witches who attempted to bind me."
-
“I’ll check it. Hey, quick question, who are you?” Geo exits her Titan, and enters the tent.
-
"Where I am from, names have power." He raises his axe and drags it across a shimmering shield of magic before the doors.
-
“Okay.” Geo renters the tent.
-
It's pretty cozy, there's a lit fire in the center and a pile of furs for bedding off to the side of it. Across from there is a table and chair, with a few candles and papers scattered about. Also the standard witchy stuffs. A cauldron, mortar and pestle, a satchel of various dried plants, small effigies of bone and wood about, et cetera.
-
Geo rummages around, checking papers for information about the door.
-
Skimming through the papers, a lot of it is in other languages or are diagrams of various bloody rituals and casting materials. You find notes translating the runes upon the doors to English, one stating the doors only open under a New Moon.
-
“Of course.” Geo exits the tent. “So, what do you want with these doors?”
-
"I want inside. There is great power here...I want it for myself."
-
“Okay. Well, you can’t get in now.”
-
His eyes burn brighter, "And why is that?"
-
“Apparently, door doesn’t open until a certain moon phase.”
-
"Ah," he crosses his massive arms, "and which phase would that be?"
-
“New .Moon. And I wouldn’t recommend trying to take the power here.”
-
"A new moon..." he looks to the sky, the blizzard still raging around you both, "A few days from now..."
In game, at least. In real life its whenever I feel to starting part 2. This is basically the end of part one, aside from the Fiend...
"I guess we wait and see then." He turns to you, smiling.
-
“So, uh, what kind of power do you sense? Because I hear Nil is a scary lady.”
-
"Hmm," he sits down in the snow, resting his axe upon his shoulder, "Dark magic. Powerful and unfamiliar to me. Strong enough to prevent me from entering and to protect this place from the flow of time..."
-
“You sure you want to try and take that for yourself? Sounds like you could die.”
-
"If I die, I return to my realm defeated and weakened. If I succeed, I return with the power to conquer it! To bring order to the chaos..."
-
“But you said this place was full of unfamiliar magic. What if it binds you, or prevents you from return to your realm to heal?”
-
The demon shrugs, "Nothing ventured... besides, I am already bound by the ritual the witches performed here. I cannot leave this mountain. Luckily, they did not know my name to bind my will to them!"
