For all you know the 3rd on your team lagged out and wasnt his fault, power cut, emergency phone call and had to dash, anything could have happened. You actively made a choice to abandon the other guy on your team and left him in a 1v3, so you deserve your suspension for being a coward and a deserter.
As for matching the same team, it happens. Comp is sbmm so its gonna find you matches against similar skilled players. If both teams finish the game at the same time, which they would, and both start searching for the next game at the same time then it makes sense that they'd get matched together. If you wanna avoid it then wait like 30 seconds before searching for your next game.

I was in a two stack so I didn’t abandon anyone. In fact we went into one of those games already down a player. And we did wait to queue back in and STILL matched with them.

So you went into a game a man down, and then quit cuz you were a man down? I mean, sounds pretty dumb tbh. And whether you abandoned someone or not you still ran away like a coward. Was playing trials last night, my friend lags out after the first round. My girlfriend and I at this point are a man down and the score is 1-0 to the other team. Did we quit? Did we run away? No. We played and we won 5-3. The only way you're gonna improve is by playing these kinds of situations, adapting to new challenges. If you're just gonna run away every time something isn't handed to you then you'll never improve.

The game match a full queue and by the time we started they were gone. Sorry that I’m a “coward” for not want to get my ass kicked by the same goddamn team multple games in a row. Sorry I can’t gun down three people rushing at me with shotguns and mountain top. I don’t always back out every time it happens, but when it consistently happens three, four, five games in a row? -blam!- that.
