Honestly, I could care less about crucible anymore. It was originally just a tack on mode to test new guns and good off with your friends (D1 Y1). Then people decided to take it seriously, don't ask me why. Now the entire game is held back by it. It was never intended to be this important.
And before you attack me, I have unbroken and flawless titles, so don't try to whinesplain pvp to me. There are plenty of other pvp shooters to play, almost all of them superior to this one, just go play those.

An example of a “tack-on mode” is a campaign game like Uncharted 4 or The Last of Us with a single bare-bones PvP mode. A tack-on mode doesn’t have 6+ playlists, a competitive endgame playlist (yes, Trials was obviously in development before D1 launched), and things like faction wars which were in pre-launch ViDocs. It also doesn’t have quests and loot attached to it. The entire game isn’t held back by Crucible either... Bungie has no clue how to balance PvP, but it’s been literally years since they nerfed anything for the sake of PvP that needlessly murdered that thing in PvE. Meanwhile, they’ve been absolutely destroying anything that sets itself apart in PvE. Sorry dude, but both of these arguments are just false tropes that bad players use to justify Crucible being unbalanced.

Why do people even speak when we should just listen to you in all your wisdom?! By the way, it was a tack on mode.

This information is all public and easily available to anyone that looks for it. But that would mean you have an educated opinion, something you clearly care little about.

The game is held back by bungies lack of creativity, not because of pvp
-
This game is held back because of luke smith plain and simple.
-
No its not that plain and simple. While I'm sure it feels nice to have an easy to point at target and not have to give it any thought. That's just incorrect
