BEYOND LIGHT CONCERNS FOR WARLOCKS
I’m getting really upset that there is a lot of titans and hunter action going on but all I keep seeing for warlock is that staff. Warlocks can freeze and break but what else can we do? What grenades do we have? Can we also create? Can we suppress as well?
I hope that subclass tree is overall good for both pvp and PvE cause warlocks have been getting the shit end of the stick in both exotics and subclass.

2 RepliesI member when the only details you got about a new game or add on were tiny little articles in a magazine or tiny short little write ups on some obscure website. No videos, no gameplay no nothing. Now you spoiled brats gets almost the entire game before it comes out and it's still not enough. You want more details. Lol. Just wait for the god damn game/expansion to come out, don't preorder, watch actual gameplay on YouTube or twitch, decide if it looks good to you and buy it if it does and don't buy it if it doesn't.

It still 3 months till release. We didnt see anything about beyond light till like a month before release.

However for PvE?! Nah. Nah m8. Lunafactions + Well of Radiance is still a de facto mainstay support class, Slowva Bomb is already strong, chuck in Oppressive Darkness and Nezarecs Sin + Recluse and you have a nutty subclass, Geomags Chaos Reach combo'd with Anarchy deals absolutely insane DPS, and then you have the supreme add-clear supers that are top tree stormcaller w/Crown of Tempests or bottom tree daybreak which doesnt require an Exotic to be good. Warlocks may be lacking a little in PvP but they're absolutely fine in PvE.

Upon further review of the trailer, although my opinion has not changed very much, I've chosen to reserve further judgment on the Warlock, Titan and Hunter Darkness abilities until we either get an in depth class preview or we get our hands on them in the public game.

Edited by ABackSeatDriver: 7/25/2020 12:58:54 PMIt's still pretty early for getting precise details about which classes can do what. I mean, it was just a teaser of what's to come. Just a taste really. As we get closer to the launch date we'll get more info about our class' new abilities.

3 RepliesYeah idk how that freeze ability is gonna play out in PvP tbh. Melee hit Registration is already bad, but imagine someone running Monte Carlo or a high strength build to just keep freezing people non-stop?

4 RepliesWoR is still top tier for PvE, same with Devour for solo play. For PvP you guys have Arc Web Storm and top tree dawn, they're both incredibly strong picks.

8 RepliesSuppressing is a Void ability, not sta[i][/i]sis. And we know about the same amount about the new Warlock as the other subclasses. The new Warlock subclass has new melee abilities where they summon their staff and fire an orb that can either freeze or blow people up (my guess is that it changes depending on the skill tree). The Hunter has a throwing scythe that can freeze and bounce off surfaces. And Titans have a Ballistic Slam-like melee ability.

Since I know bungie doesn't care about warlocks. Like every warlock thread that get slid into oblivion. I'm not buying this DLC. Why waste my money when I know none of my concerns will ever be addressed.

Idk about all that but I would like to see a more solid and detailed explanation of what sta. sis is and does for each class or if it's just one subclass for all 3 characters in which anyone can use the exact same perks and supers. The trailer doesn't do well at showing me what we're getting into
