IMO I'm going to show what actually happened.
The truth here is, Activision and the other studios were the ones that got this game in a good place with Forsaken. They saved the game from crashing hardcore, due to the fact that this company almost lost its entire player base with the base game and CoO, it was literally a flop.
What does this company do after forsaken was released knowing the game is in a good place? They decide they can "fix it". (This company's #1 problem with this entire game,) If it works don't fix it.
This company has a major issue with constantly changing everything in this game and it's been non-stop for 3 years now. When does the bate end and the actual game start? That is not a troll remark either, I'm being serious.
How many times does the leveling system need to be changed in a game?
How many times does the infusion system need to be changed in a game?
How many times does the cost of items need to be changed in a game?
How many times does do our builds need to be changed in a game?
How many times does the loot system need to be changed in a game?
How many times does it take to start over before we actually get to move forward?
How many times does the masterwork when it comes to items need to be changed?
How many times does the bright dust need to be changed purchasing items?
Trust me, I can go on about this bata. Where is this "foundation" the director said they created?
IMO you're not burnt out, you are tired of this company constantly changing everything in this game that it's a 3 year long bata.

Edited by ramblin billy: 7/17/2020 6:19:18 AMIf you pay attention to the forum, all those things need to be changed on a regular basis. None of the things you talk about are the products of Activision, Vicarious Visions, or High Moon. This is Bungie's game - good and bad. This whole narrative that everything good was done by someone else is just false. Both studios contributed to the game, but that's all.

Edit: Just to clear your comment up about it not bing their product? That had nothing to do with who actually created the content in the game to get it in a good place. And the BS that the things I said "need to be changed on a regular base" tells me you have no clue what you are even talking about. Your reply was the dumbest excuse I've read in a while.

Really? This game was in a bad place all of D1? You haven't a clue what those other studios worked on. As usual, you've adopted a conclusion and disregarded the need for actual evidence to back it up. Bungie made the gameplay, Bungie made the look, feel, and sound, they invented the destinations, Bungie created the characters and wrote the story, and Bungie put it all together. Last Wish was a Bungie joint. Vicarious Visions certainly did the pc port for D2. And they, as well as High Moon, did contribute some content. But if you think either of them called Bungie up and said "oh by the way... we killed Cayde" you probably believe Microsoft was the creative force behind Halo. Every single one of those systems you claim should have been left alone have been the focus of countless player complaints. And it hasn't mattered what changes Bungie has made, the complaints have continued. At exactly what point in the games 6 years should everything have been frozen? Destiny is an evolving game - it has to be to survive. Try to keep that in mind on a personal level. I don't understand why you feel the need to constantly post your hasty, illogical rants accusing Bungie of everything from incompetence to dishonor. There are plenty of legimate problems with the game. You don't need to go off the deep end to get your Bungie bashing jollies.

SlingshotNerda Destiny MOBA would be pretty fun - old
Billy is a troll
Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t make them a troll. He makes good points that you probably just can’t accept. -
I agree disagreeing with someone doesn't make them a troll but Billy is in fact a troll.

Welp with that being said, it doesn’t invalidate what he typed out. This is Bungie’s game, this is their story, it’s their mechanics, their engine, their lore, their everything. Evolution is better than conserving what it is, if everything remained exactly the same sure you might not be as burnt out, but you would be bored WAY quicker than you already are. I’d rather risk burning out than to be bored out of my mind having nothing to do. -
I kind of figured by the way he replied and his first part of his game tag.
