Constant Game Crashes, Delays and Corruption (PC - Steam)

As of this week, I've been experiencing rather constant game crashes as well as in-game delays. File corruption happens as well, as detailed below. Game Crashes This seems to happen at random momens during gameplay, particularly during fast-paced moments. However, it appears to prevail during screen transitions and other types of transitioned actions. Examples include a) changing tabs in the Character/Director Menus, b) dismantling gear/shaders and c) doing either of the aforementioned in fast succession, as if overlapping screens. When this happens, the game freezes completely, closing automatically some time later. Usually, the game can be re-opened through Steam normally. Delayed In-Game Display As I've observed, this seems to be associated to Game Crashes, as it normally takes place shortly before the game freezes. However, there've been many occasions in which this issue's occured but didn't result in a game crash. Effects seem limited to framerate drops, commonly lasting no longer than 10 seconds, but, as aforementioned, may result in a game crash. In my experience, this differs from stuttering, as it's not characterized by sequential mini-freezes, but by a type of "drag", as if the framerate dropped and remained at such constant low value until it recovers. I'd like to note that this issue's occurred, on a few occasions, sequentially: twice to thrice in a row, with only seconds in-between. Game File Corruption These occur after a sudden game crash, when the game window simply minimizes itself to the system tray (but cannot be re-opened). Now, I understand these may happen every now and then, as they have in the past. But normally, validating the files through Steam solved the issue, which isn't the case here. This past week, on several occasions, after repairing the files through Steam and launching the game, the initial loading screen (the one before the Shadowkeep screen) would appear. However, the game didn't load no matter how long I waited. Also, should I have a different window for a different program open and the game window were to be displayed in the background (as it normally happens to me, with no hiccups whatsoever, since I use Fullscreen mode for the game), and I were to click on the game screen so to bring it to the foreground, it'd freeze and not close on its own. Thus, the only solution would be to ALT+F4 it and reboot the computer. Hey there! You may need to update your drivers if your game crashes. Another solution to this is by raising the priority of the game. You can do this by: 1. Opening your game 2. On your keyboard press CTRL, SHIFT, and ESC at the same time to invoke task manager 3. Click the details tab (or processors depending on your windows) 4. Right click your game destiny2.exe and hover over Set priority 5. Click Above Normal 6. Restore your game And as for the game corruption, you need to regularly update your windows and driver. A software or anti virus could also be causing this issue. I would recommend you do scan and repair.
