Bright Dust - Selfie Emote
I just redeemed the selfie emote from the eververse shop today. I did this while I was in a raid area with my clan.
After redeeming I noticed the icon did not grey out as it does with purchases. I checked my inventory, my emotes on my character, wrapped items area and logged out and in again. The selfie emote is nowhere, but the store took my 3000 something bright dust.
I checked my emotes one last time before coming here and I see that I have curtain call which I don’t remember ever purchasing or receiving (though I could be wrong). I believe there’s been some sort of glitch or something. I am 100% certain I redeemed the selfie emote from the first page of the eververse store. I spent quite some time grinding for enough bright dust and was so excited for the selfie emote. Could I get the correct emote that I redeemed my bright dust for? I’m scared if I repurchase I’ll have the same problem happen again and I’ll lose what I have left of my bright dust.
I have no pictures or videos as I wasn’t streaming or recording at the time this happened.

1 ReplyJust wanted to add to this - another user posted something similar a few days ago. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/256459025?sort=0&page=0 I think because he was using some kind of auto translator from Korean to English that his message got a little lost in translation, maybe it looked to BNGHelp6 that he was asking for a refund on an accidental purchase. But it looks to me like he too tried to buy the 'Selfie' emote and ended up with 'Curtain Call' instead, so it's more of a bugged purchase than an accidental one and hopefully different rules apply if it's a problem affecting multiple users.
