Crowley my boy, your own sense of scale is really, really big. Like ridiculously big. You say that there are "trillions of missile emplacements, warships, ground forces...", so trillions imples not multiple trillions, so i interpreted the siz of this force to be 3 trillion things. Now, if we split the forces evenly, there are 1 trillion missile emplacements, 1 trillion warships, and 1 trillion ground forces. According to army-technology.com, the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), whcib is basically a fancy name for a missile truck is 7 meters long and 2.4 meters wide. Then, allow for 1 meter of space in between the trucks because the trucks can't be right next to each other, and you get 3.4 trillion meters of space just for the missiles. To put that in perspective, the distance from mars to the sun is only 210.08 billion meters, and, since 1 trillion is equal to 1000 billion, it would take ~16 trips (if i did the math in my head right) from mars to the sun to fill up all the space for just the missile trucks. That's not even including the ground forces or the space ships! Even if we halve the forces (because technically 1.5 trillion could still technically be "trillions"), then there would only be 500 billion missile emplacements, so 1 trillon, 700 billion meters of space for the missiles. That would equal up to 8 trips between mars and the sun, if the trucks were all side by side. Now, if the trucks weren't all side by side, and instead in a big block, now there's a different story. Each truck (2x7 meters) is 14 meters^2 in area. However, it is still necessary to account for space in between the trucks, so 1 meter must be added to the length and width of the trucks, making a .5 meter long border of empty space in between each truck. The new area is now 24 meters^2 and there's 1.7 trillion of them, so 40.8 trillion meters^2 of space to fill. North and South America put together is 42.5 trillion meters^2, but Mexico alone is like 1.97 trillion meters^2. Therefore, to fit just the missile emplacements, this army would need the area of both American continents minus Mexico. And again, all that math was just for the missiles; the warships and the ground forces were completely left out of the calculations. And all that is supposed to be "a bit terrifying".

 • And for another thing, if you don’t like what I do, don’t respond.

 • uhhh I think you should ask before trying to tell me about my stuff. The Border of Hell isnt a normal border. As it is Hell, the border is above the main part of Hell. There are missile turrets hanging down off of that. Go lecture someone else.

 • But i'm using your own words (and some math) to tell you about your own stuff. Besides, just because the border is above, that doesn't change the canonical fact that, at least, the space of North and South America minus Mexico is needed to fit the missiles above. Using the same numbers as above, if each missile emplacement was destroyed every second, the battle would take 15,855 years (rounding up) to complete. At the end of the day, i don't really rp so i don't care as much, but i do read a lot and it annoys me when i see something blown way out of proportion.
