The appeal was accepted (as in they took your form), that does not necessarily mean the punishment was overturned.

Bungie will be reducing your permanent PvP restriction to a two-month restriction with credit for time served. If your network connection continues to harm the play experience for others, you may receive additional two-month restrictions until your network quality improves to the point that it meets our minimum standard for competitive gameplay.
Unless I misunderstood, it appeared that they approved my appeal and I should be able to play. This was on Feb 28th, 2020, and I've sent multiple responses to the email and received nothing yet. (**NOTE: this ban was caused by a crappy router from my ISP)

Yes, that would appear they moved it to a 2 month
Your appeal has been reviewed and approved. Bungie will be reducing your permanent PvP restriction to a two-month restriction with credit for time served.
Ban happened early January and they opened their appeal process on Feb 2nd. Again, I have no way to reach out to Bungie, since they have since stopped email support. This is crazy, to purchase a game, expansions, in-game transactions and season pass but have no way to contact anyone. I am half tempted to contact Better Business Bureau since you have no recourse, no path for direct contact for assistance.

Better business bureau! Lol!!

You know a better way to get them to respond?
-
I just find it funny, I dont think better business bureau will get your account unbanned any sooner, the process takes a long time, and even then, doesnt guarantee anything, bungie can simply have them review the terms of service and prove your internet connection was affecting their IP and you may end up back where you started months later, I'm sorry to say but at this point you may just have to wait. The pandemic slowed most companies production down. It's not really Bungies fault, I'd be upset too but at the end if it wasn't for your ISP you would never have to go thru this

1. It was approved and was given confirmation that it would be lifted see email I quoted earlier. 2. I've never been auto-banned by any other game due to network issues during the same time frame. 3. This was before COVID became pandemic in the US by almost 1 month. Its been 3months since "time served"

Edited by xIl Oz lIx: 6/10/2020 4:50:31 PM1. Yes I know I saw the email, someone OBVIOUSLY overlooked it or screwed up when unbanning your account, it happens, we are all human. 2. Every company is different, some care less than others, bungie is obviously very fond of their IPs, Marathon all the way to destiny, just look how much support they provide for their games ( hope you know the game Marathon) maybe you just happened to be playing a lot of destiny when the issue with your router happened, heck I dont know, but it happened. 3. I know it happened before the covid pandemic but what I'm saying is now AT THIS MOMENT they are working from home with limited resources, it sucks but be patient.

Hey it looks like they respond directly to complaints filed on the bbb.org pretty quickly too and you laughed at my suggestion: https://www.bbb.org/us/wa/bellevue/profile/video-game-dealers/bungie-inc-1296-22512784/complaints
