Had potential for the greatest game of all time

Thank you guys for the debates opinions likes and over all exposure of the thread. This is the biggest one ive made since before the game even launched talking about swords needing to be in a sci fi game . and halo assassinations making there way into the game eventually. I dont mean these words out of hate honestly. In the stereotypical fashion hate is a strong word. Especially over a game as one person put it lol But its just an example of looking back at all the hope we had for this game, the vision, the hype. And were sad that a great company like bungie(who we know isnt the same team that brought halo back n the day) has fallen on the wings of hype to carry their name. We still love this game despite the frustrations. I wont lie and say im not addicted. I still really fxxking love this game. But the dry spells are more obvious because weve been down this neglectful road before, some people call Stockholm syndrome before it takes hold luckily. We just didnt want this to be the case... We didnt want you to be "just another developer dishing out the same busywork" We wanted a passion project with all the bells and whistles. Immersion. And loot. Tons of it. Thing is where we are today is where we shouldve been in at the end of rise of iron honestly. And I and several others are just exhausted of beta testing your game. Tired of funding half measures and fan fiction. Linear vision rather than a whole universe of culture. The lore is awesome. But we are still reading it rather than living it. Like. Charlemagnes Vault. A big open dome full of riches and an arsenal to make even banshee blush. You get what im saying... Youve got what weve all been saying. Its just a matter of putting that passiin back into it. Oh yeah and MATTER? You might as well start teasing that shit. Or let anon of the nine leak some concept art. Cuz where im seeing it. Youre not gonna get a dime till your proof your pudding for the community.

Stinks, doesnt it? Joe is long gone and Chris isn't even working on Destiny right now. I'm no fortune teller but the way things have gone this year doesn't bring me a lot of hope for the future. [i]Usually[/i], Fall expansions start strong then gradually drop off until the next calendar year. Whats sad is that you can't even make a decision from the trailers we see because of how well they've gotten at making trash look like treasure. That said, I will never again pre-order anything with Destiny stamped on it. I've had my fun but the cycle of BS that comes over and over is becoming tiresome.
