Precision Frame
Intrinsic: Dangerous Game
Arrows will explode when hitting enemies. When fully drawn missed arrows become proximity bombs that persist in the world for an extended time. (~8-10s)
High Tension String
Fiberglass Arrow Shaft
Exotic: IDS
Proximity Arrows that land close together (~3-5m?) form tripwire connections to each other. When an enemy passes through a tripwire all connected arrows explode simultaneously.
Proximity Arrows blink at the fletching like the Hunter's Proximity Exploding Knife. The tripwires that appear between arrows are like an orange version of the tripwires that appear between Anarchy's grenades. Only like eight or so proximity Arrows can exist at one time. Shooting more just despawns the oldest arrow. I thought it would be cool if one arrow shoot at enemies stays there and if they pass by a proximity arrow the two link up and explode, but it seems like that could be too powerful in PvP. I mean it basically guarantees a kill if your second arrow lands anywhere near the opponent. I don't know. What do you think? Please leave criticisms, comments, or just call me a tosser.

Needs refinement. But all in all a cool idea. What would the catalyst be? Faster Draw? Or maybe greater explosion radius?

5 RepliesSorry, but this is way, way beyond OP. In PVP, it would allow you to mine an entire pathway. Paired with area denial grenades like swarm and voidwall, or the proximity bomb throwing knife, or the dreaded telesto/Bombardiers combo, it would utterly deny entry to enemies, and give the archer the power of multiple grenadiers working in concert. Unless... the explosions and the radius of each explosion were less like dragonfly and more like explosive rounds. Weak individually, not much bother to a guardian, easily avoided by those who are looking carefully for them. Then, it would be great for taking out charging groups of adds, but wouldn't become the next most irritating version of (insert name of recently nerfed weapon here). Either that, or the individual arrows would be on a short timer, like the Timed Payload perk, so they wouldn't last long enough to present a lasting obstacle, and, if grouped to close together, would detonate each other. Make the draw time super fast, but nerf the hell out of the accuracy and the initial impact so that it can't be used for light sniping like Hush or Point of the Stag, and the heavy arrows, laden with explosives, describe more of an arc as they travel than most arrows do, requiring the wielder to judge distance much like one has to with Fighting Lion or another light GL.

Edited by elite9Jay: 6/1/2020 5:36:29 PMWhat about a exotic sniper rifle that does the same damage as revoker, has one shot but landing a precision hit will create a new round that can one shot to the body but if you keep landing precision hits, you will keep getting a ammo back in the magazine or gun. Idk just saw zen meteor and thought about a sniper with one round but will return it with a more powerful round every time you hit a precision hit

2 RepliesWe could ACTUALLY have an exotic solar bow (Finally) if they did this amazing idea. But Bungie, taking suggestions/concepts? That's a rare occasion. 🤦♂️
-
1 ReplyYou have to fully draw the bow, only to purposely miss and hope to God that your opponent walks into it and doesn't notice the arrow? Hmm, idk man
-
Hm. Neat concept. The only bow that you want to miss with lol

1 ReplyTrophy hunter-Bounty hunter

1 ReplyReally like the idea, could be kinda op tho

That sounds pretty fun! They need more weapons like this in the game
-
Noice idea. Sounds like a fun weapon. Creative exotics are the best
