Sunsetting is the wrong thing to do and there is no way back from it.
Armour 2.0 gave us more opportunity to customize our armour and is actually better than constantly grinding for the right gear (although you guys haven't quite figured out how to make armour exciting with the chance of extremely high stats dropping)
If you guys could implement the same structure with our weapons you would have more incentive to play and customize/chase weapons.
Blueprinting weapon perks as mods that drop in game gives you a chance to clean up the over abundance of weapons but still make them exciting.
Mods could make up the identity of the gun but never have players just pick the gun because of the perks.
For instance
Slot.1 Barrel mods
Slot.2 reload mods
Slot.3 survivability/movement mods
Slot.4 damage mods
Slot.5 seasonal mods.
Have weapon drops still random rolls but you can blueprint the weapon into your collections so the mods acquired on that weapon can be chosen if you ever recieve that weapon again but with different rolls. That way you can swap and change to customize the weapon. It also solved the collections page problem.

Edited by BRAZACK: 5/24/2020 11:46:47 AMThey can make powerful weapons that wont break the game but the devs are just -blam!-. If shot package worked better than full choke(which it currently does) but has a penalty to range it would be fine. I dont see the need for sunsetting if they are clever with their weapons and armor mods. Sunsetting is just another way to inflate playtime/the grind. we should be able to save our god rolls in collections. Instead of nerfing popular mods just improve the underperforming ones.
