For rapid hit and feeding frenzy I think it was to add a little bit more of a skilled use focus instead of front loading all the bonus.

I understand their reasons for the nerf, and isolating only the nerfs without the retirements and previous nerfs, I don’t think they were “abusive”. Rapid Hit got hit pretty hard, imho, but in all truthiness it’s a perk I delete immediately upon acquisition, bc I don’t play that way. My style is more like my Trust HC or Subtle Calamity w dragonfly, dragonfly spec mod, explosive rounds, and drop mag. But, I have many, many friends who really liked that perk, lol. It’s the totality of the last year that drives my concerns. And it really does feel like a systematic repeal of GoFast. Also, I’m not buying into the: “we’re making you stronger, by making you weaker, so you’ll be stronger later” mantra. I just don’t buy it.

I gravitated towards Rapid hit for the stability buff, and not the reload speed. Some guns just need that consistency to be usable. But that’s me.
