While it's been a several weeks since I've been compelled to log in and play Destiny 2 I do still keep up in the news headlines with it. So I was very irritated to read that Bungie is sunsetting certain weapons and such in the game. As a result I've uninstalled the game and don't plan to reinstall and return unless this changes.
I'm really disappointed with the inability of Bungie to develop, implement, and properly balance the various weapons and armor in the game. Sure, you won't ever be able to please everyone. It's not possible. But when you continue current approach to the game in terms of making controversial choices that aren't popular within a large chunk of community, then you simply don't care anymore.
Are you making these changes because you are unable to find some semblance of balance? If so it is a VERY stupid choice at the expense of countless player hours from the community investing their time into the many multi-step quests that are in Destiny 2. The lore is fun and interesting and has great potential. But when you follow the miles long trail of bread crumbs to the end to find out the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is no longer worth anything, it becomes frustrating to say the least.
I hope you all reverse your decision on this. If not, I wish the community and player base that remains the best of luck. There are many other games out there that are compelling competitors right now, and I will be spending my time with them in the meantime.
