Imagine not being able to use bygones, a gambit weapon, in gambit.....
English
-
Easy to imagine. I don’t use it now in Gambit. Haven’t in a very long time.
-
Its not whether you do use it, its whether you can use it. You just wanna ignore the point.
-
Imagine that you actually can use it in gambit, just not in a raid, or trials.. that is what is happening. Use your weapons but, for endgame content, you will need to find and use the newer weapons.
-
You forgot that Gambit has light enabled, so it will cripple you against other players unless they plan to do away with that.
-
Gambit is a 750 activity is it not? If the cap for all legendary weapons currently in the game will be 1060 in season 11, that means that it will still be viable in gambit, and if they move everything to 1060 in the fall, it still does not punish you for using a sunset weapon.
-
The ads are 750 I believe, but not other players. Against invaders or the invaded, power does matter.
-
Unless they change that in Y4
-
That would be nice for at least normal Gambit. Prime should keep it enabled though.

Can't use it in anything that matters.

Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 5/22/2020 6:12:41 PMImagine not realizing the severely decreased survivability and damage output during invasions with throttled gear and lying to say you can still use throttled gear unaffected in an obviously affected light level enabled game mode because you wanna defend anticonsumerist planned obsolescence models.
-
Survivability isn’t dictated in gambit by one gun that is slightly underpowered.
-
The point is that sunsetting will affect even gambit and you wont "be able to use your favorites", or even gambit weapons, in gambit without a major penalty. But way to miss the point i guess?
-
I can clearly see the point. And it’s hardly a major penalty. One gun underleveled doesn’t give a disadvantage in gambit. Gambit prime a little moreso, but even there you won’t see a substantive difference. Designated invaders MIGHT be held back a touch, but most just won’t use the underleveled gun at that point.

And its disingenious to say itll only be one gun. Its everything getting sunset, including armor now too, and it will be a noticable disadvantage. Youve only proven yourself wrong so idk why you keep trying to argue.
-
your tin foil hat needs to have the shiny part facing out. this has nothing to do with consumerism at all and everything to do with viability of a game that you play in your spare time for fun. If you don't like it.. I suppose you have said your peace, next step, stop playing.
-
Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 5/22/2020 5:43:36 PMYou are just mad that i just proved you wrong and your insult shows it. And i dont argue with people who dont even know what the definition of anticonsumerism is, much less people who unwittingly defend it, so move along.
-
lol you proved your opinion will not be changed. good day.
-
Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 5/22/2020 6:12:58 PMGambit being light level enabled isnt an opinion, its literally a fact. Sunsetting affecting gambit isnt an opinion its also a fact. And so is the fact that your argument is inherently an anticonsumerist defense of planned obsolescence regardless of YOUR opinion of whether it is or not. You are factually wrong on all points. Bye.
