*he encounters a young looking pale woman with dark red hair, pale skin, and piercing orange eyes that glow in the dark. She's wearing a dark gray cloak that obscures all but her face*
Hello?
English
-
Errol stops and turns to her. In the moonlight it can be seen that he has a bandage on his shoulder, and a cut through his left glove from which blood slowly trickled down his fingers. In his messy state, he appears almost annoyed by the woman. “Good evening, lass.”
-
Good evening. What are you doing out here by yourself?
-
“I could ask you the same. It is not safe for a young woman to be in the dark alone.”
-
*she smiles, coming off as a bit naive and/or arrogant* I'm sure I'll be fine.
-
“I see, if you say so,” Errol says. He looks at her up and down before he answers her first question. “As for myself, I had no choice. I am on my way to a town I was told is down this path.”
-
*from what little of her is visible, Errol gets the thought that she might not be entirely... natural* Town? Mind if I come with you, since it's so dangerous out here?
-
Errol’s brow twitches with interest at her countenance before he turns to continue his way. “If that is what you wish. What is your name?”
-
Sable. Your's?
-
“Errol.”
-
A pleasure to meet you, Errol
-
“And you as well. This may be far fetched, but I am looking for a certain friend of mine, and I wonder if you might have come across her. She is a tall lass with dark hair, green eyes and a fresh scar on her face. She carries a longbow of sorts, and if you have spoken with her she has an accent like mine. She is a nervous one and is always apologizing for no reason.” As he describes the person, a frown grows on his face.
-
Can't say I have. May I ask why you're looking for her?
-
Errol sighs. “We have business that needs to be settled. It’s rather personal.”
-
Ah. I won't pry
-
“I hope I am not prying myself, but I can’t help but wonder if there is more to you than there seems to be at first glance.”
-
Mmm... maybe there is, maybe there isn't. *her eyes flash playfully*
-
Errol turns his gaze to the road, and he can’t help but give a small amused smile. “I see, though I believe the former.”
-
Edited by TexasJedi_705: 5/20/2020 6:24:31 PMHmmm.... interesting decision. *as they walk, Errol notices that Sable's movement is barely, almost imperceptibly, off. She walks just a touch too smoothly, too effortlessly, for a normal person*
-
Questions rise within Errol, ones that he asks himself quietly. “Very.”
-
Any further ideas of things to do?
-
They are coming close to the town. Unless you’d like to talk more to Errol, find out a little more about him/why he is looking for someone, or whatever, they can probably say goodbye there.
-
Where are you from, Errol?
-
“I’d tell you, but I don’t even know where I am now. Still, home is a beautiful place, and very different from here. It was peaceful, once.”
-
Once?
-
“Corruption comes in many forms, my friend. Unfortunately, most are blind to it.”
