*I appear on the road ahead of him, a dead wolf laying in a puddle of blood before me. I look up as he approaches*
I'm guessing those thieves were the same ones that attacked Cara?

turns out, the most powerful creature in Offtopic mythos is the 5 level 1 bandits that cannot be killed. No matter what sh1t happens, even if Offtopic gets nuked by Bungie, the bandits remain alive and go around robbing peasants for fun.
Errol stops a few paces ahead of you, and a barely audible sigh escapes his lips. He glances down at the wolf curiously. “Good evening,” he says. “May I ask what happened here?”
No, they were not the same thieves, since they met different fates depending to how players dealt with them. The ones that attacked Cara were there for the sake of the RP, but these had a somewhat more personal effect on Errol if that makes sense.
-
*I shrug* "It attacked me, so I defended myself. Anyway, the two catgirls living with me right now could use some more food"
-
Errol briefly tilts his head. “Catgirls, you say? And do they normally have dog for supper?” He seems genuinely interested.
-
"Normally no. I'm sure they won't be adverse to a special treat though."
-
Errol gives a strangely amused smile. “I see. Do you happen to know where the nearest town or city is? I seem to have lost my way and just recently found this path.”
-
*I give a wry smile* "I actually don't know. I've never been in this area before. I was kind of hoping you would tell me."
-
“Hm. I’m sorry I won’t be able to help you. I’ve been wandering this swamp for days.” A frown grows on his face and a weariness on his countenance. “I am also in hopes of finding someone. A tall lass with dark hair, green eyes and a... fresh scar on her face. Carries a bow and is constantly apologizing for ridiculous reasons. Does she happen to sound familiar?” As he speaks about this person, annoyance becomes more noticeable in his voice.
-
*thinks* "No, sorry, doesn't sound familiar. Although I don't exactly mingle with society. If you don't mind me asking, why do you want to find her?"
-
Errol’s frown deepens. “We have unfinished business to settle.”
-
"I would be willing to help you find this person... for a price."
-
“You’re a bounty hunter?” Errol glances over you up and down.
-
"I wouldn't say that. More like a wandering warrior willing to do anything for the right price."
-
“Anything, you say?” Errol chuckles. “To be honest with you, friend, I do not agree with that line of work, but for this purpose I will allow it. This lass is important to me. How much would you require for a job like this?”
-
*I look you over* "You have nice gloves. I want those."
-
Errol looks at you blankly for a moment, then he gives a sarcastic grin. “You have a good sense of humor. These gloves will not leave my hands.”
-
*I shrug* "It was worth a try. How much money do you have?"
-
“As much is necessary. Though I doubt many would consider who I’m looking for worth much.”
-
*I pull a chair out of a portal and sit down* "Tell me more about this person."
-
Errol stares at the chair and whispers, “Fascinating.” Then he looks back to you and crosses his arms. “What is it that you want to know?”
-
"Everything you know."
-
Errol sighs. “Her name is Skye. She doesn’t have a surname, and I’ve already told you what she looks like. My father and I took her in when she was young, since she didn’t have a family. My father taught us about combat and we taught ourselves how to work with technology. Her bow can split into two daggers that can give off electrical charges, and she has a cloaking device on her right vambrace. She let my father die to a group of men who attacked him on his way home.” He paused, and an anger filled his weary eyes. “Someone last saw her in a ‘random field’, though he didn’t tell me where it is.”
-
"She didn't try to fight back at all?"
-
“She says she did, but my father is dead,” Errol replies flatly. “With the both of them, he never should have met the fate he did. I don’t want her dead, yet. As I said before, we still have business to work through.”
