Unexpected Consequences : The Lie

Dear Bungie, This is about The Lie. Millions of players love Destiny. Its a fantastic series of space magic , assassins in cloaks, bookworm warlocks, and crayon eating meatheads. I think the art this season has been commendable. Some people put a lot of time into putting content together, and I appreciate that, I hope the rest of the player base does as well . However, there have been problems. Admittedly, releasing new content is hard, very hard, VERY, VERY HARD. But there have been missteps. A community of players can not play a game if its run by people who will not admit fault when communicating with their community. I am concerned that The Lie ( the narrative of Titans winning Guardian Games) is a clear sign of an issue where no one wants to admit actual fault. It was very clear that the balancing was done based on uneven data from the month before, and the grind-able bounties were very Titan centric, giving them an absolute advantage over all other classes. The only day in which hunters won, they were coming down from the Trials grind which was quickly being killed off by cheaters. So the constant lying about what was actually happening, was not appreciated. People did notice and I think it hurt some of your playerbase that cares about not being lied to. This type of overestimation also made its way into the Seraph Towers 2.0 event, forcing you to add a completion multiplier. But at least then you were able to admit a kind of fault, with not much of a reason as to 'how' . With all that said, I would appreciate honesty from you Bungie &I think other players would too. Thank you.
