I don't blame them. Most aren't every optimistic about the way the story is going to be handled since this season the storytelling has been weak. Oh no the Almighty is going to crash... just do this event over and over with no new dialogue about it, no cutscenes and no discussion anywhere about progress. Oh but halfway through the season you get 1 pop up mentioning that the next phase of Rasputin's plan is up now, again no dialogue about it, any real progress report or a look at how close the Almighty is, just a random new version of the event. Don't get me wrong, I've still got hope but right now this season has me worried for the future beyond September's release. What happens after the content in September? Does the world go back to standing still for a year till we're all of a sudden ready for whatever comes next or are we going to actually do something worthwhile? Imo, the game can't just keep going nowhere for a year straight then much forward, each expansion should mean something and do something to the world. Time should move forward with each expansion rather than just being freeze framed and every now and again we get a little lore drop about how things are moving like we did with Uldren at Christmas on a ship. A damn ship.

People shouldn't need to be reminded that we were caught off-guard and were blind-sided by the Red Legion and look what happened. At least this time around, we do have some warnings on what might be coming but we're too busy making laurels to devise a strategic counter-offensive. And then there is little thing called the Almighty
