So a sort of adept weapon that can hold adept mods or just a trials weapon that can now slot something new which will be an adept weapon mod? But okay if these mods a garbage then what? You want people who earn the mods feel like they earned something worth the grind..Or what if there are too few then what 1 adept mod per season isn’t enough ( just speculation idk how many mods they are adding) the weapons or rewards for going flawless need to be desirable. Remove the win requirement for turning in tokens putting a paywall to preserve the integrity of trials is fine by me. I don’t think adding a hours played just to access trials will work well people want to play the game as well though I think it’s okay I don’t 100hrs is good thou that’s way too much and not even people that casually play probably have 100hrs in though it does sound reasonable could be exploited. Material farming is the last thing we care about when it comes to trials I think you guys should re think that solution. That has nothing to do with the bigger problems with trials. Also we want to keep our tokens there is no reason why I shouldn’t be able to still have them for next week.

  • I think if they add the bounty that unlocks the 3 win reward - that should be the equivalent of getting 3 wins and let you slam tokens. The whole reason it’s locked behind 3 wins is because before that, you have nothing (if it’s your first ever time in trials) to slam tokens for because you haven’t unlocked loot. If they tie unlocking the use of tokens to the bounty or to 3 wins, I think that won’t be bad. Hardcores smash 3 wins, casuals do the bounty and both get a drop and to turn in tokens. All depends on how the bounty requirements are ....... I actually think Lono (SNTR) was onto something about the adept mod slot or grandmaster mod slot as a way to show that that person has something loot wise because they earned it doing something difficult. Titles aren’t enough, but loot with an extra edge is a great incentive. He even said they could interact with the season theme, and maybe be powerful, and can be another place of experimentation for new mods/mechanics that’s tied to the season theme. I don’t think 100 hours is bad. If 100 hours is needed to significantly limit free cheater accounts, all for it to protect the mode. Yes it won’t affect me, but I think the few casuals this may effect may not need to be in trials anyway especially with a 960 power requirement (that may go up as the soft cap goes up?). I think it may hurt some legit players, but get a lot more cheaters out. Sucks, but it’s needed to protect the integrity of the game mode and those that play it.
