The problem is, trials incentivised people to cheat, now they have ability and they use it in other crucible outside trials. This is why trials of the nine was removed in the first place. And yes, it is on platforms, not just PC, and NO, reporting even with video etc does nothing. Once a player is banned they can just jump right back in now that destiny has no levels or any ability locks. And u can use that lack of leveling or unlocking to spam light levels by deleting characters over and over. Bungie has trashed their own game. After a full year of garbage content and a list of game breaking glitches and ball drops, and capping our favourite weapons, now they r going to remove parts of the game, supposedly for space, to add content from D1... why? Who knows, D1 still plays so why do we need to bring it to D2 and delete D2 content?? Whats his name in charge has nastalgia for D1 and cant move forward?
They didn't work on trials for a year.
It's been gone for 2 years, they did not work on it for even a year, if you think they did you're not thinking straight imo.
Token farming wasn't taken into account yet they should know that's exactly what the community would do.
Matchmaking wasn't taken into account either. Card based matchmaking sounds fine on paper but there are problems with it such as population which was affected almost immediately due to what I mentioned above.
Flawless players getting matched with players who haven't even seen 7 wins in game 1 is totally fair though right?
"Trials is meant for good players", that doesn't take into account everyone in between the best in the game and the worst in the game and trials was never meant to shut the majority of the population out, D1 was far better than d2 trials.
So no, they didn't do shit. They reskinned D1 and brought in crappy token systems featuring tokens that are taken away every damn week for reasons.
