Part of what makes RPGs fun is going back and traversing an old area and annihilating things that gave you trouble before. (Or new game +) Taking others through an activity with ease cause of your previous time invested there. Cause you 1-tap adds or cause you have gear that is specifically tailored to the activity. The Hive on the Moon should be more powerful based on their proximity to the Darkness ship. Having grown to 1000+ Light/Power to beat Savathûn should mean I can 1 tap red bar Ogres on Earth like a line of Thraw. This means you can densely populate activities with otherwise insurmountable odds, assuming my Guardian is the false god killer you made it out to be. That way overloads/unstoppable/barriers seem even more special. I want to fight legions. We are at War for our solar system encroached upon by the darkness. Light level desparity is hardly even noticable. A low level Guardian who has never completed a Raid, should be as excited to see an End Game Title bearing Guardian as an ODST was to see a Spartan. Vanilla adds shouldn't even be able to stand in the presence of a max light Guardian. They should all but be suppressed. Rotate the Raids and Lairs weekly so people have reasons to play content that took a great deal of time, effort, and resources. An arbitrary number shouldnt incentivize me to drop my old arsenal. Things like warmind cells and extra or new perks should do that. Extra effectiveness again certain enemy types. Flawless Adept weapons. New Vendor weapons with perks specific to activity. The return of Crucible pinnacles. Save this game damn it. The power fantasy is important. People like cheesing. People like succeeding with their fav weapons no matter what it is. Not being forced to use Hardlight and Gnawing Hunger. Not resetting our arsenal so you can sell it back in a different skin. Give bright dust economy back. Stop making it so apparent, your desperation for everyone to make Eververse purchases.
