Season of Dawn Armor Mod "Striking Light" secondary perk is not working in PvP
Was messing around with some of the Dawn Mods and saw the secondary perk for "Striking Light" says that you "Gain damage resistance against combatants while sprinting".
Not sure if this is intended to only work in PvE but in almost every scenario a friend and I tested, I gained no damage resistance when sprinting in PvP, even while charged with light. It does say combatants in the description of the damage resistance meaning it is intended for only PvE, but I didn't notice any damage resistance if any while running around in the EDZ. It also says 'combatants' in the main mod perk, which happens to work in PvP (generates an orb on melee damage kill).

Wait, have you really sat and tested everything ? My hunch is, is that you need to have your sword equipped and need to be in game actually using it to make the secondary mod take affect, and yes during PvE play, if it works for only PvE than cool ! And If it doesn't work for PvP , then good! Cause if it did I can see literally everyone switching to electricity skill tree and mixing this mod with Passive Guard (recieve less damage from combatants that are close to you while you are wielding a sword) and procing the absolute -blam!- out of those two mods and -blam!- destroying everyone. Haha but if it does work cool! I'ma test it out real quick

Noticed the same thing no change what so ever to my damage resistance might be bugged
